You're right about no one frame needing to be perfect. When you show the final product at the end of the video, if you try to watch it from the eyes of someone who hadn't watched your whole video (and therefore won't be looking for details) it is 100% seamless. Great video, can't wait for you to finish the entire series ;)

Great serie, you've really improved since the first video! I'd suggest you to learn about pose to pose animation (keys and inbetweens), instead of animating straight-ahead. This could help you tackle harder scenes, like Socca's gloves or Appa flying,

7:14 I hope there is something I missed, but those lines, sir, look like smears/after images. On amother note, you don't have to feel obligate to move each all the way to the sodes or dead middle, you can always just move it only part of the way.

Awesome video and comic. Your art skills are really good and I like your artstyle. It was fun to see your thought process while making the comic. I like the way you explain everything in your videos. I'm excited to see your next project. I had a thought about the seatbelt bit. You could place a smaller panel in between and overlapping the before and after panels. It could focus solely on the seat belts flying out of the seats with some action lines and maybe a sound effect. However, this definitely isn't necessary and could possibly make the page look cluttered. I just wanted to mention this in case if it could be of use.

11:55 yeah, you definitely should diversify your content. Although I think I could watch ATLA remastered series all day, if I actually do so, I might get bored of them. Not sure about non-animation/drawing content, but I think with some variety of videos about drawing, people won't get bored too quick.

You're amazing, still shocked by how few views these videos get. I rarely say that (and to be honest I even hate when people say that and I disagree with them), but your content itself and its quality deserves hundreds of thousands if not millions views.

Personally I'm of two minds with this. The work you put into it looks really good, but I think it just doesn't fundamentally work. The shots were framed for the specific aspect ratio, and they followed the rule of thirds, basically what that is is a grid of pattern of two lines running horizontally and vertically on the screen, the points where these lines intersect are generally where the viewer's focus will lie. Expanding the frame wider also makes the horizontal framing space wider, meaning all the shots in the white screen versions you made have this bland centered framing to it. So I feel like in order to more effectively make use of the wider screen you're going to want to push shots around horizontally to follow the rule of thirds better. So if a shot is framed more towards the right of a 4:3 frame, push it more to the right when expanding the screen space and draw more on the left side of the screen.

A few years from now, your 16:9 reconstruction will be, for some, the ONLY Way to watch ATLA!

Awesome review! I don't really watch Disney films (neither the originals nor the remakes) but I still really like listening to your voice. I found you through the remastering avatar videos and just wanna say that all your stuff is awesome!

Instead of manually aligning the backgrounds with key frames, couldn't you track the background with two or more points and attach your background plate to the tracking points? Or isn't that an option in Procreate or Clip Studio Paint? Maybe you want to first do the background panning animation in blender and then move the frames over for the character animations on top of it.

I think perhaps Zuko's ship deck doesn't as intended because they kinda went from boards to something else when you drew them, maybe the angle of the lines are off too? Separating them into boards and fixing the angle I think would help. But overall I really liked the scene you did of him getting thrown off the ship! I think the frames of him and his crew getting pushed back by water and him falling overboard look really good!!! The moving ship looks good too.
