뭐냐고.. ㅎㅎ 피아노 간주 부분 박자가 엄청 빨라진 거. 얼마나 빨리 끝내고 싶으면 그럴까 싶어요. 그리고 마지막. 반음만 더 올려줘요. 제발~ Db과 D의 차이가 엄청나네요.

I own the original shellac record of this Florence Jenkins aria, and this rendition with Meryl Streep is definitely better. It's so sweetly terrible from Meryl, but the original recording is insane.

Mozart would have loved it. Handel would have held he out of the third storey window and threaten to drop her. Verdi would have made her sing it over and over again until she got it right (which would have been never) and Beethoven may have tried to save what was left of his hearing if it hadn't have already left him. Though the NERVE of the woman was tremendous.
