This study looks so beautiful, but I worry about doing it in Southern California - where there are really only 2 seasons, and there are not a ton of places to go on nature walks and forage for mushrooms. Do you have any testimonials of people who have done it in similar situations.

I’m not sure if you’ll get to read my question since this video was posted 2 months ago, but one thing I really liked about your video, among many, was that the kids lunch was packed and all they had to do is open their lunch boxes! That is genius! May I ask if you prep all lunches for the week or just the night before? I’ve been struggling with timing ⏱️ and keep thinking packing lunches will really help! I would love to see a video on how you plan your little ones lunches for the week ❤️ seems like such a time saver between lessons!

Do parents get breaks when homeschooling? I want to homeschool, but I'm losing Mt mind with my 1 and 2 year old already lol
@chaoshome34Ай бұрын
Absolutely 😂 We only do bookwork 3/4 days a week but do year round with a week off here and there! Look into living learning! & kiddos have days with dad or grandma... & hubby & I do biweekly dates leaving kiddos with a sitter or most of them at least... I breastfeed so baby comes but it's a break from home...

A 1 and 2 year old need you 24/7. My oldest is almost 4 now and has so much more independence I definitely get to breathe without someone needing me now 😂 it gets better ❤

Your words about desiring more time with the Lord when your kids were younger but not being able to make it happen really hit home! I have a 6, 4, and 1 year old, and it’s been a nonstop season. Even though I plan my days the night prior and wake up before everyone else, I still have trouble resting in and with the Lord. But that day will come. I will continue to love on my babies in the meantime :)
@TreehouseSchoolhouse3 күн бұрын
It truly is a nonstop season with little ones, and finding that quiet time with the Lord can be such a challenge. Your dedication to planning and waking up early shows your heart's desire, and it's okay to acknowledge that it's hard. Keep loving on your babies and know that God sees your efforts and your heart.

I am NOT a morning person. But I can totally see myself doing most of your morning routine at night. For homeschooling, we all roll out of bed around 8a, have a quick bite, and get straight into lessons. We're done at lunchtime. We have a quick lunch, rest for an hour, do chores for 30-45min. The kids do independent work or rest/play while I prep dinner. We pray as a family, then do a final kitchen cleanup. We're usually done around 7:30p. Kids have free time till around 10p. I have middleschool aged kids.

Thank you! This was really helpful for me! Getting up before my kids is super hard, but I love how you share how you use the time you have to fill your cup. I can do this in the time that I do have, and that would be good enough. I find I don’t make very good use of the time I have for various reasons. But I can make a plan to change that now.
