I push annual washes in July. Rid the home of bugs (dead/alive), webs, nests/hives that build up during spring and early summer. I can minimize chem use when possible while also cleaning up mulch spots on the siding. Enough years in the business combined with a holiday and vacation and July gets really busy.

So if i buy the entire list from soft wash and manifold i wont need any thing else at all? Of course a water tank but parts wise?
@logansales700021 күн бұрын
This is AWESOME I just built my own set up. Its not as hard as it seems. 1a. Get a 12 volt pump on amazon 1b. If it does not come with a battery hookup harness, ensure to buy one. They’re cheap! 2. go to a hardware store and get a simple water tank 3. buy a 12v marine deep cycle battery (these are boat batteries, made to be drained and recharged entirely without damaging the battery) 4. buy enough polybraid hose to reach to the bottom of the tank for the pump to draw from 5. for the pump output, buy some hose (i bought 100ft of Flexzilla, but there are other light weight hoses that will do the job for less $) 6. i then bought a Gilmore garden hose gun that has the tip on it for screwing on something else with a garden hose fitting and worked my way adapting the end of the gun until i could put a pressure washer quick connect to attach a jrod or whatever tip I want onto it. I did this because I wanted to easily connect my gun to a garden hose 7. i bought a few o-ring clamps to tight up everything along with the right sized Nipple fittings (these insert into the hose, or i like to think of it as being the piece the hose sucks on / grabs onto) to connect the poly braid hose to the pump 8. i used plumbers tape (teflon tape) to help secure all the fittings 9. and now i can just use chat gpt to calculate how much bleach i need to mix with my water to get the desired calculation. Every tank is a different size, and not always an even number. Chatgpt just does the math and you can memorize it or screenshot the calculations to get the exact % 10. Make sure to test your system, identify any leaks, or issues before actually doing a job! Took me a week to build it, made sure i bought the right stuff and didnt rush. Just do it simple and its hard to mess up. Ive never built something like this before. And I DID IT. You can too!! Don’t be scared to ask for help in the fittings aisle. Feel comfortable to tackle one section at a time. Don’t overwhelm yourself. One other important note :) Ensure that any adapting piece that connects directly onto garden hose style threading is an adapter specifically labelled to connect to garden hose. Garden hose threading is slightly different than standard plumbing threading. In the hardware store, i didnt leave until i made sure all the pieces fit together. I kept them assembled, and brought the bags that the fittings were inside of to the checkout 😂 I would sit at the shelf building stuff, connecting everything to my gun, hose, pump, etc. I made it all fit. And then checked out. Makes life easy! I hope this helps someone have courage to do it!

Jeremy, what a great video! Hey man, I had a question. when you purchased the gear box from envirospec did it come with all the gaskets and plugs, or where those ordered separately? I ordered the comet gearbox with the comet TW8036S. I plan on throwing it on my 20HP engine, any concerns there, and what do you think the performance would be?

Hey Jeremy I built a simular set up. What psi are u running this at and what tip did you set your unloader with. I am trying to set my machine.
@dwaynesmither527329 күн бұрын
My advice for what it’s worth: 1. It’s not that hard to do the right thing. What’s hard is to explain why you didn’t. 2. We are in the customer service business first and foremost. 3. We get paid to spray water. Have fun and enjoy the wow factor.

Is there a reason you are building off a 420 engine and on the google doc list it is a 459?
@KentuckyWashProsАй бұрын
This build video was made before the production of the 459 engines. Have tried to keep the build sheet updated, if I were to build this now, I would use and I recommend using the 459

The only listening I am doing while washing is for outlets, or AC units frying....those things worry me, even with property protection. Do not use surfactant either, and have very good results with minimal run off.
@davidmaco1Ай бұрын
Great video what type of production rate do you use for cement, I am finding it really varies, when I have to roof pump my production goes down to about 1200 square per hr. this is pretty consistent with a big guy and 19 inch whisper, but it can go faster then that with no post treatment, or if rinsing goes smoothly that can really throw off production if drainage sucks, keep up the great work !!
