Great job. What gauge sheet metal did you use? Did you cut the old panel out? If not, what did you do to prep it?

The panel is 18 gauge. I left the original firewall in place because it has some bends and shapes that add rigidity compared to a simple flat sheet. The firewall and the inside of the new panel are primed for rust prevention.

@Dad. A friendly reminder to hide 2 lowjacks. Apple and Samsung if not a dedicated one. Also take out your ignition fuse or killswitch for fuel pump are quick and easy TO DOs. I would take my ecu with me if I parked it long enough. Do your diligence for safety.

Dang. I hadn't even thought about any of that. Although, somewhat conveniently, there is a fuel pump cutoff switch already installed. :)

Hit it with basecoat and go back and sand it and just spray that area and other bits your not happy with . I only give the basecoat 12-24 hour window for clear coat . You seem to know what your doing . Am doing a fd for my daughter and we both started watching your channel on our coffee break while waiting for paint to dry in the spraybooth . It’s really good content keep it up

I'll meet you half way on that one. I like the wheels, so they're staying. But I replaced the NRG steering wheel with a MOMO. I'll be sure to include that in the reveal. If Bryson likes the wheels, I guess they'll stay. If not, that's an easy swap.

I remember this model on around E reg plate week before my older friend sold it all ways remember this rx7 that he had same has this but in black memory of this car never forget because ayrton senna died around about the same time has he sold it. this rx7 also rembering the rx7 before this on a b reg plate the second gear was scary and I think the earlier sound better

One question, those motorcycles must have oil in the gasoline.

Yes - motorcycles with two-stroke engines require some oil be mixed with the gasoline. Some modern two strokes have oil injection, but most two strokes require that you mix oil into the fuel that goes in the tank.

For the 70, I believe the windshield sizes between fastbsck and coupe are different? That being said how would you go about converting the size of the A pillars in order to fit the windshield of the fastback?

The coupe windshield is reused. The A pillars and front cross member stay in place.
