Great questions! I enjoy ground blinds. They give you extra room; that is always nice. One thing they could improve with ground blinds are the tops. All the ones I've purchased let rain come in on the front openings. They should make the tops similar to the tops they design for tents. You know, like the caps that allow some overhang. I am currently in the process of building a permanent box stand. It's located on private land joining a powerline. It is a 6'x8'. This will allow my son and me to have some enjoyable hunts. He is eleven and still doesn't like hunting enough to rough it (unlike his dad). I purchased my windows from Zero 4 Outdoors. You can get them in two sizes: 11"x30" and 11"x42". They are not tinted though, so I am going to order the tint and do that myself. Another thing I plan to add (being a permanent stand) is overhangs on all windows and doors. This will knock out sun rays, keeping the deer from spotting you and add years to the life of the stand.

I was lucky enough to be invited to come to the Moose Milk Mansion, a camp in southern Marquette County for more than 20 years. The Camp had a wood stove, propane lights, a pump for water, a propane stove, and a wood fired sauna. I took several nice bucks off that property. There is just something special about a U P deer camp.

Love your camp; I just bought a camp myself in the Burt/Alger county area and it’s much crustier than yours, but it’s a start! I’m not even a hunter, I just love the U.P. and making good memories over a beer or six.

@CharleyThePlumber ill Check it out I have one,but have to pump all the water out because pipe Theirs no screw on top so have to pump everything out to get to the Sump pump,But I also at first plugged it in the GFCI outlet and tripped the GFCI and Idk if something inside the cord is bad or the motor is stuck and has to be cleaned or just go buy a new one?Can you give me a tip maybe you know why GFCI tripped ?
