How do I select faces behind faces? If I use cross section to hide stuff in front of the face I want to select, I can only click on the cross section grid. Im from Fusion360 where I can hide part of the part and select stuff behind it so I'm havng troubles to get used to SpaceClaim. Awsome video and thanks for helping!

Hello, after using the Design assistant, a big inconvenience happened to me. (I renamed one part of the assembly in DA) Since then, when I open this assembly in Inventor, all the references are lost, if I determine them again and show him where the referenced files are and save it, then when I open the assembly again, the references are missing again . I love how things always work flawlessly in tutorials. But then, you download an STL file to follow along, and Inventor suddenly gives you error message after error message without providing a way to fix the errant model. Not too crazy about this program.

This video was really helpful. I'm playing around with the finish tool and finding it completely useless. I can add finishes in parts and assemblies, using a model state for my colour coding, then a model state for my final finish. If I put these into a sub-assembly, and create model states they work, I can change between them. When I put the sub-assembly into a higher level assembly, they stop appearing. The breadcrumb says it's in that model state, but they don't show anything. Does anyone else find this?

Informative session and very good teaching style. But when the fluid is air how can you take so less Reynolds Number- only 80. When Air/Gas is considered then the Reynolds No must be below 200000 ( two lakhs). You took eighty, it is not wrong. You can take anything more than zero. But a little higher Reynolds no in order of 1-e+5 is recommended. Prof. S. Mukhopadhyay

A question about Vault Office.. does it have full Change Order features for non-CAD data, like .doc, .xls files ie, can Vault Office users approve and release these non-CAD documents?
