1. The lack of an ability to increase your credit limit is more of an annoyance. If you make a purchase that puts you over 30% utilization, you can turn around and pay the card off that day. They do not report how much you used the card, just what the the balance is on the statement. Even if you forget, the ding is only 30 days assuming you pay the card off in full. 2. For SoFi plus members, you get 2.2% back which beats most flat rate cards that are typically 2%. Are there better rewards out there? Sure. But 2.2% is the best rate you'll find on a no annual/monthly fee flat rate catch all card. 3. You should point out that SoFi is a bit stingier on their credit limits. I have 14 cards and SoFi is the lowest limit. 4. The sign up bonus, if there is one, can be less than optimal. I got like $15 and 3% cash back for the first year. The extra percentage turned into about $35 to $40 for me. Where something like the Wells Fargo Active Cash has a $200 sign up bonus, which blows the SoFi card out of the water. For me, I'm an optimizer. Having the 2.2% fall back is quite handy. I can live with the lower limit because VERY few purchases don't have another card that covers the purchase for better rewards. If you're not a SoFi Plus member, the Wells Fargo Active Cash, or the Citi Double Cash would be better options as you'll probably get better limits, better sign up bonuses, and access to more robust ecosystems.

Co-branded cards have a partner bank. If Apple goes out of business, the bank partner will likely just move those customers into one of their existing products. A current example is Walmart cards being moved to quicksilver now that the partnership with Capital One has dissolved

I got the 2024 GT convertible for $7K under MSRP. Love the car, and going from a Mazda CX5 the handling feels incredible. Bought it off the showroom floor which I always like to do if possible. Why? Although people may have sat in it and played with the dials (which there are few of), the upside is it didn't sit out in the lot for months being rained/snowed upon. And freezing and unfreezing constantly.

Love the steering , you appreciate it on high speed interstate driving.

It is a shame there is no way to get the XLE with ventilated seats without getting the moonroof, and jbl audio system? I really really really don't want the moonroof or to pay to upgrade the sound from crappy to mediocre. If they offere JL or other good speakers I'd probably tolerate the moonroof.

I owned a used 2021 Camry Xle AWD with 125k miles on it and honestly, I thought it wouldn't be a good used car to buy with high mileage on it but turns out, it still runs pretty well. The only problem about that car is the previous owner kinda made some damage to the rims making it lead to having some bearing noises which I had to fix and the body came with some minor scratches but not really a big deal since you can’t really see it once you apply the correct color paint. Overall I wish they add some type of A/C or heat adjustment to the center cabinets for the back passengers.

Is it $1,500 Cash Back limit? Or do you get back 5% om the first $1,500 spent? (Which would make the card useless) I suspect it's the former, which would mean that you would have a $30,000 quarterly spend "soft limit" to get the max $1,500; which is much more reasonable and most people won't come close to spending $120,000/year on a credit card.

The savor one is a no for me. I applied and they gave me a starting limit of 3k. I have several high limit credit cards. Plus Capitol one I didn’t get the sign on bonus etc or the zero APR 😩. Other than that it don’t seem like a bad card.

Nothing interesting… Robinhood credit card has 3% cashback on ALL the purchases without exclusions!!! This is what you have to know before applying to Apple card :)

One note regarding closing the AMEX card. Most of the time they will let you downgrade” to a lower model that will not charge you annual fees.

You've got to take into consideration the Amex gold card benefits. 120$ for Uber/Uber Eats, 120$ on GrubHub, 84$ in Dunkin & 100$ in Resy. If you use all these benefits, thats 424$ - you're essentially being paid $99 to hold the card. Ofc, you might not use all of them, still easy to be net positive.
