These drums put me in a trance. The sound is deeply moving ❤

Why is this called Afro Drumming? Africans have nothing to do with Indian culture.

Every time I hear Native American drumming and chanting it instantly triggers tears....The first pow wow I went to it happened and every time since....I don't know exactly why this is but it lets me know this is powerful....

It has value for reference. However, it's obviously staged events. Acted out by colonized natives for the oppressors camera. 🙏✌

they weren’t crazy people as the europeans thought they were. they were beautiful people. and the europeans STOLE america. they destroyed it with city buildings, gross fast food areas, etc. the Natives lands were supposed to stay healthy with animals and things to eat, etc

I once was in a hot tub in Pagosa Springs Colorado. A Native American couple were also soaking in the beautiful water. A lady asked if the man knew any healing songs. He said I am a Navajo healer. She asked if he would sing. He agreed. One song was the water song. I still get chills remembering the experience

Et dire qu'aujourd'hui les EU continuent leurs génocides mondiaux... en organisant des guerres chez les autres... jamais chez eux... Ils ont massacré tous les Indiens et ça continue ailleurs !! 😢😢

Some may see this dance as barbaric and savage. Yet, these spiritual dancers are more divinely connected to the earth than you and me. Respect the dance and the peoples always. They bring a message.

Gotta stop you right there! Being Caucasian I called the regalia you wear “costumes”. I will never make that mistake again. Can we all get in the same page so there’s no offense taken? I meant no harm, truly! ♥️

If u don’t know the backstory back when 7th us president Andrew Jackson was president he agreed to sign something that would to send out native Americans forcing them to walk miles and miles from their home to their new home many of them died on the way due to diseases infections and starvation jackson had a best friend named Martin van buren that became next president and helped with him carrying out the plan of forcing the natives out

"Native American"? You must mean Indian. The only part I liked was where you could hear the actual drumbeat and chanting of the Indians. Very interesting. Lonely, too, in some way. Like a cold wind over a dry prairie in a cloudless sky. Lonely and sad. I think they probably had hard lives. But notice that even though the original music has a sad tone, the braves stand up, dance and sing. The rest of the music was absolute crap. Tripe. The original stuff is where it's at; all the other stuff was just pretense.

Risky click, since I have sort of an irrational fear of most powwow music. This singing is scary, but at the same time the footage is fascinating and I love learning about different cultures like native American ones. I will still like this video because it is very fascinating.
