An absolute terrible idea to use a helicopter for footage which adds nothing to this coverage. In fact the audio suffers because of the helicopter, the footage in the quarter screen was distracting, ruining the moment you tried to capture. The story doesn’t always need help by adding thins like a helicopter to be dramatic.

You mean like Marv BossArt and NajLa AmundSon are together on WDAY from 1996 for the flood of 1997 to 1999 for the ABC rerun of the WDAY closing @ 6:29 pm with Fargo television under WDAY 6, on the line, and beside the ABC logo?

You mean like in November 5 1996 for KMCY 14 zooming off of Minot television beside the ABC logo in the beginning of the KMCY opening @ 6:00 pm and in March 9 1999 for Minot television being under KMCY 14, on the line, and beside the ABC logo at the end of KMCY news @ 6:00 pm?

The audio of some of these videos is the equivalent of a phone being drowned in swirling toilet water.

I worked for the GN from 1960 - 68 as a Brakemna on the Mesabi Division. If you didn't have 250 cars you were running around lite. One trip East out of Cass Lake with 269 car they had use stop and pickup Outfit Cars, haul them fifteen miles, and set them out. Ore trains were 220 empties up and 205 loads back. The extra cars were picked up loaded with ore at Gunn Jct by the Eastbound freights from Cass Lake If they were short on 250 cars. Empty extra's with box cars going west were 250 empty box cars with ONE SD9. The fastest you went was the sag between Island Siding and Swan River Siding was 20 MPH. The railroads motto was "You've got sixteen hours".

This hits hard. In 7th grade at the time, getting home from school that afternoon the first thing I did was start channel surfing. For the first time all day, I was alone, in my own space. Flipping through every channel, only to see either the 9/11 coverage, or the title card cancellation of programming was so surreal. The only channels that resumed regular programming were the kids channels for obvious reasons. Then shortly after getting home, WTC 7 collapsed. Couldn’t help from holding back any emotion at that point. It really did feel like the end of the world. Or something along those lines.

I think Mr. Rogers made some kind of statement about 9/11 on PBS. The perfect voice during a time like this

I remember EWTN just had a picture of a huge stain glass window with Catholics praying in the background. Although it was to help people cope with the events, It was one of the most eerie things played among the stations that day
