Im no painter but why does my roller need spin all the way around. It only goes half-way around. What am i doing wrong? I always have this issue.

probably have dried paint in the roller itself. Or maybe it's cracked...or maybe just get another roller handle.

As a professional union painter for 27 years. I’ve never seen anyone place and start rolling from the top of the wall , very close to the ceiling. Careful this guy setting you up for failure. lol. Always start your roller in the middle of every wall. Never at the tippy top.

I roll mine sideways at the cut in at the ceiling. Left to right...or whatever is comfortable. No ceiling spatter.. unless you need to run a 100 mph.

After 3 coats of high quality and thick latex paint the white of the patch is still visible... And I'm not even trying to go dark, just ecru.

If I'm painting a brick wall what ratio would I water the paint down for the same sprayer?

Give the paint a good stir, see how it drips off your stick back into itself, you want it to just melt back into itself and smooth out pretty quick , it can be 10% to 30% as a ratio to dilute with water based paint but visually watching is an easy way to tell
