It was magical watching you cut the flower out. I do not have the skills to do such an intricate flower. Thank You. I needed something to make me smile today. I will be looking forward to viewing your other videos.

Thank you. You can always start with a simpler design and improve your paper cutting skills gradually if you're interested in giving it a try :)

What is the name of the white paper you put over the letters?

Quilling strips were used to make this. White as an outline then all colours to make the other shapes.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and expertise. I have been watching various videos and none have touched on the problem I am having. I was so confused as to how these presenters were getting their coils to turn into the teardrop shapes so easily. I assumed it had to do with the length of strip but no video or directions in the beginners kit given to me addressed the issue. I don’t feel quite as stupid anymore thanks to you. I am now wondering if not using a pattern, as you mentioned, what is the standard length to use to make the various shapes as a beginner. I understand experience will tell me in the future, but for now, where should I start? I would be ever so grateful for any advice you are willing to share. Thank you.

Hello, we are happy to hear the video has helped. Now the length all depends on the size of shapes you would like to make. Try experimenting with half strip or quarter strips and get a feel for the size shapes you end up with with. Our standard strips are approx. 45cm in total so try using fractions of that total measurement. Diane also filmed some beginner technique videos that you may find helpful. Does anyone know if Hearty Clay can be glued to a "treated" white painting canvas made for watercolor or acrylic paint? The canvas has been stapled to a wood frame. It is sold at the local craft store here. And if it can, what would I use to attach the clay to the canvas? Thank you!!!
@KatySueDesigns26 күн бұрын
Yes, you should be able to stick hearty clay to a painted surface. Heather has done so in the past. Any PVA based glue, or thick/heavy acrylic medium will work to adhere the clay.

@KatySueDesignsАй бұрын
Hi, yes our molds can be used with resin but if you do make sure not to use for cake decorating purposes as it could make the silicone non food safe. We hope you enjoy using your rose mold.

The constant references to your own products is, unfortunately, slightly annoying. Obviously, make everyone aware that these products are available, but there is no need to constantly refer to them ALL the way through the video. Thank you.

Hi Mary, if you stick to the general rule of the largest pieces being the first to be used you should have no problems. Let us know how it goes :)
