This song makes me cry every time!! Johnny was very ill by the time this video was shot. He was not able to go to a studio so the whole thing is shot in his house in TN. I'm always amazed at how this song shows two different men ( Cash & Reznor) at different stages of life and how they interpret it differently. Johnny is only the artist to be inducted into the Gospel Music Hall Of Fame, the Country Music Hall Of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. You REALLY should delve into this man's music. I was never much of a country music fan but I could listen to him all day long. His last few albums were produced by Rick Rubin who produced many great musicians including Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Metallica and Red Hot Chili Peppers. There are several covers of songs His life and Trent's life sort of mirror each other. They both fell into addiction and depression. With Johnny it was alcohol and prescription drugs. An amazing man! The Man In Black!

Yes, this is one of the very early hits. Music was different then and they were trying to break into the market.
