All was cleaned using our 1000W mobile cleaning laser. Apart from the first few seconds that were done with a 300W texturing laser trolley.

Is it suitable for mirror polished surfaces?
@laserflux5 ай бұрын
Yes. Actually the process could be faster on a polisched surface. Depending on the type of metal and contamination.

could this make a SPI A3 mirror finish into a A1 or optical finish?
@Kaarmeenkantaja7 күн бұрын
Unfortunately it cannot do that magic. We tested this kind of laser cleaning to the medical mold product surface and it changed the structure of the EDM/ machined surface a little bit. At least it did this when using settings to get rid of all of the burned/rusted residue. You can see the stripes with a microscope. It would be an interesting test to see what it actually does to SPI A1 or A2 mirror finish. But I can guarantee it will not get the surface any better.

1000W. But the same intensity can be reached with any wattage. The size of the pattern or working speed would be affected.

Please how much watt ? And any information ?
@laserflux2 жыл бұрын
This is the 1000W manual laser cleaner used by our service team. But a lower power laser would be enough for the examples in this video. For more information, tell us about your application or ask your questions at [email protected]

can this tool be used to clean green corrosion off of nickel plated steel like an autoclave? thank you
@laserflux5 ай бұрын
We are not directly familiar with this application, so testing would be nescessary. But our Texuring lasers can go up to 100µ deep. Even our cleaning lasers might do well on this example, removing the corrosion but not the nickle plating.

There are different models available. The biggest difference between them is the power output of the laser source and the price. Contact us at [email protected]

I'd love to see this done with a white paint removal
@laserflux2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately white paint is more challenging for laser cleaning. This is because of the fact that the white reflects the laser beam instead of absorbing it.

What's the power of the laser?
@laserflux2 жыл бұрын
This is with our LMX1000. This machine has a 1000W laser source. But we can reach the same cleaning intensity and speed with any of our machines. For a smaller machine we would only need a smaller pattern to match the energy concentration and cleaning speed.
