Singapore played well from beginning number 7 Song Ui Young was very impressive , Ikhsan wasted a couple of good scoring opportunities , the scoreline might be huge but the team played without fear and daring , the only way to improve played against a much stronger opponent

Watch live on stadium, what to expect was a 7-0 lose. 1)Really can see from both country way of playing style, Singapore lack of attack mindset. 2)Midfield after get the ball, took very slow to form up attack, and always pass back to defender. 3)After losing 2 goal, totally lost their mentality. 4)FAS, must really wake up, if they want the lions to challenge for ASEAN. 5)Either the coach make a totally whole changes selection team, if not is time to recruit and scout player who is based Singapore heritage, play for Singapore team. 6)Make soccer a full time career rather than part time, example of our close dearest country Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines, see the players they have, experience of playing in Europe make alot difference. Last and for all, wake up the whole mindset, and make changes before competing for ASEAN champions.

Well done Lions. You had displayed in front of the crowd a thrilling piece of work through losing in a glorious way. Gosh we are talking about the mighty South Korean team with top notch superstars in the line up. 7-0 is quite respectable. And a good lesson for the lion too.

I was there at the stadium. It was fully packed at every level. Kudos to the thousands of Singapore fans cheering on the lions, but what a horrible performance. Absolutely disgraceful. We didn't expect much of a result, but we came to see a good effort. There was none

We just have to face it. Spore is and WILL always be an easy opponent to play against. Look at the other ASEAN countries playing in qualifying. Their level has improve tremendously. Good luck to Spore in the ASEAN tournament in Dec. Lions will be slaughtered and easy meat for the rest.

0-7 is a respectable score line for Singapore, and is a step in the right direction. It's not easy for the players to play football part time and work as Grab delivery full time. At least there is effort.

This is not respectable, in fact if we lose, we must lose with pride. It's been a long time a stadium was full house watching spore national team played and I felt our players must don the national jersey with pride...however when I see them played, they simply not there, Christopher gave too much respect to Son, look at Son, he got so much space...

So it takes a scoreline reading at least 10 - 0 before you are willing to say Singapore is lousy? Lets not lower our own standard just to cover up our mediocrity. The scoreline is shameful. Nothing respectable about it especially when it is home ground. We are expected to do better than the 5 - 0 away thrashing but we didnt.
