Honestlyyy lol. I remember the feeling of "👀 Oh, I Iook good!" after straightening my hair after a very long time. Nowadays though, I still don't straighten it. Not because of other people's opinions but because my ADHD and weak arms can't stand the time and effort required to do it properly. I love going out with my 3 best friends. We never have the same hair as each other or as last time and I love the freedom and non jugement.

I completely understand! I have came to the conclusion that I won’t be straightening because of the humidity. In Cali it was dry heat so I was able to wear a silk press everyday. But that is okay. I do like wearing braids, preferably Marley twists. I switch up between those, two-strand twists and my curls. How do you normally wear your hair due to arms? Also, I appreciate your comment and sharing part of yourself with me ♥️

Each time I cut mine off i just save them for later in a zip lock bag lol. Next time I want to reattach them I plan to just get it done at the salon

Are you emotional each and every time you cut your locs?? I had my locs for almost 10yrs. It was very emotional. I can’t imagine regrowing them again and then cutting them and having to feel that emotion!!

@Butterfly8583 no the first 2 times I was not. I cut them due to being the in the military. This time around, I think I was emotional because I knew it’s most likely the last time I would get locs and nervous on moving forward. Majority of my hairstyle for past 6 years have been locs so it’s going to be different for me, that’s all.
