It’s a common misconception that there are thousands of muscles in the trunk, but there are actually only 17 muscles in the trunk. There are eight muscles on each side of the trunk and one central muscle between the nasal passages. The confusion regarding how many muscles there are in the trunk may be due to the fact that the 17 muscles of the trunk are composed of up to 150,000 muscle fascicles. Muscle fascicles are bundles of muscle fibres that are surrounded by connective tissue.

What a beautiful documentary - Joe Kennedy the writer and director is a master of his craft. This was beautiful story telling on camera, he caught every action, each clip was a well thought out scene linking it to the next story. Bongani Nxumalo’s narration was superb - very African in accent and intonation it flavoured the authenticity of the story. And Grant McLachlan composition almost reminded me of the Lion King, beautiful African music, with coral voices and instrumentation. I thoroughly enjoyed this. This should be on National Geographic TV. I wonder if it won an award? It should have own an award will google to see. This is how animal documentaries ought to be made. Great cinematography!

It's a very wonderful video :D There's two things here: Frists, I'm amazed at how much weight you were carrying with you. Some lighter equipement would have helped that's for sure. Second, ANY water can be dangerous. Even if you're in a very remote location and the water seems pristine. You should have carried a small water filter that also take care of viruses. And, did you get vaccinated before? You could have died just because you were not careful... But the most important is this... you're video is an amazing tribute to life and good people....

Largest Tiger Shark is 24 ft long?!?!....What are you talking about? Thats completely wrong! There hasn't even been a Great White caught that is longer then 21.5ft and the largest Tiger Shark ever caught was 18.5ft which is a difference of 5ft smaller then you state. Where do get you're information and stats because you're exaggerating well known and recorded statistics you don't seem to have bothered to fact check
