I have the same bracket but I don't think the ac is leaning out onto the bracket the window is keeping it straight when shut and I'm getting water do I just have to loosen the window?

Also make sure the hole that goes from front to back in the styrofoam , usually on either side, that drains from front to back... that may get clogged as well... just use a wire clothes hanger to push anything clogging it through and vwala

A Razor Blade Scraper with a Handle is the Best & easiest way to get off an old Registration Sticker. It will also scrape off any excess glue. If you haven't removed the Glue thoroughly off the Glass from previous stickers, the glue eventually will be a bit harder to remove even with a New Blade which should always be used. Put some rubbing alcohol on a paper towel, then put it snug up against the glass, rub a little & it will remove excess glue. Rinse area with water & make sure it's Dry. Then just put your New Sticker on. Keep Scraper in Glove Compartment and your ready for the Next Time.

Guys, make sure your drain plug is pulled and there isn't algae clogging the hole. That's what this towel is fixing. A good cleaning will fix it also. Mine is clear and not filled in the back and I'm still having the issue it's the pan on the inside not draining to the outside that's my issue and I can't find the connection between the 2 even though I took it apart.

So the sticky part is exposed on the inside or double taped?

Use windex on the residual adhesive - it comes right off.

This is a cute video but not very helpful. What you need are 3 things. 1. A fine-edge thin scraper. 2. Goo-gone. 3. Rubbing alcohol pads or window cleaner (do not use Windex) - You cannot remove sticker residue with glass cleaner, you need goo gone and it will not harm the windshield.

Maybe somebody else commented on this, but what happens to the paper towel in a stiff wind? Perhaps it’s a better idea to use an absorbent and more robust towel of some kind and then tape that the air conditioner.
