Yeah right, the maximum voltage is 12.6, yet you show 14.33 on your meter. Just how did you accomplish that? Cutoff voltage is 4.2, so in a series of 3, you would only get 12.6 volts. It even says on the battery pack itself 11.1 volts. I guess you think it's funny to have people try this or something, I'm pretty sure that meter is connected to a different set of batteries. The nominal voltage is 3.6 for 18650 batteries, so a series of 4 would give you something like what is shown on your meter.

Your 3s pack is seriuusly charged to 14.3V, you are aware that a lithium cell charged more than 4.2v is explosive witch is probably why your bms tripped

Tienes que resetear el chip de conteos de cargas que se encuentra soldado en la placa de la batería con una EEPROM o un re programador de chips para resetear el conteo de ciclos de carga

How this workpiece transfer, basically, works? For example, we are using a lot of bored out jaws with different depths of recess, depending on the thickness of workpiece. Some of them are just 4-5 mm deep, and workpiece, basically, has to be inserted all the way in, contacting with the wall of the recess. So, is it possible to transfer worpiece till the contact with the wall of recess, without having emergency stop due overload? Or, chuck-to-chuck transfer needs straight jaws on counter-spindel, so workpiece does not rest on anything? But, as far as I understand, with this manufacturing method, workpiece has zero runout? Because, we don't have any counterspindels on our machines at all. Only tailstocks. So, the second sides of workpieces are being made with manual reinstall, and we are not always getting perfectly small runouts on our workpieces.

Hello. I have an X541SC laptop and the battery died. It lasted 2-3 hours, but I can no longer run the laptop with it. When I took it out and measured + and -, there is no voltage. I told myself it was dead. I took another second hand, but i did not measure it before taking it. I just took it and put it on the laptop, but it's the same case. When I measured it, again there is no voltage of + and -, but the batteries themselves on both sides give 11-12 volts. Does anyone have any idea if this is a dead board / battery processor, or for some reason there is a protection that has turned on and stopped the output voltage? I found this on the internet: Some batteries are equipped with a solid-state switch that is normally in the “off” position and no voltage is present at the battery terminals. Connecting the switch terminal to ground or pulling it up often turns the battery on. If this does not work, the pack may need a code for activation. Battery manufacturers keep these proprietary codes a well-guarded secret to which even service personnel have no access.

Dell D600 battery (C1295) With a jumper between Ground and the SYS PRESENT pin I can measure voltage and discharge the battery using a R/C charger /discharger. However I can not charge at the out most pins. No current flow goes into the battery. If I put the battery back in the laptop it will charge it full again. Would you know if I need another jumper to allow the battery to accept charging?

this actually worked but you need to drain the battery best way for me was connect a 12 volt pc fan until it drain out to 0 it took a few minutes the fan will not slow down just stop totally after a few minute then reseal the battery and connect it to your the pc and start it up with the plug charge connected once windows starts you should see the battery charging from 0% to 100% like normal

In actuality you need specialised hardware (i.e. EV2300/EV2400) with software (Smart Battery Workshop or Battery EEPROM Works) to really reset a laptop battery. Specifically the BQXXXX IC that is located on the PCB board - to which the 3 pairs of 18650 cells are connected to. 😑😕😒 I have an assembled/saved playlist with videos on this topic on my channel.

what exactly are you resetting? cycle count?

The cycle counter sends an "off" signal to the BMS when reaching 600 cycles...but batteries still have 80% of capacity.

@@TheFireControl plz explain more.. my battery shut off in 10 minutes.. all cells have full voltages
@TheFireControl3 жыл бұрын
@@engineersgameplay1063 You have to pry open the pack. Use a glove in the hand gripping the pack. One of the three pairs is dying...once open, the multitester will show you all the pairs with the same voltage...but the truth is that a dying pair will not show average voltage, but the better cell "rule"...4,2 or so volts on each pair. Once pry opened the pack, you have to charge, with + to + and - to - charger to pack polarity...direct from the charger, not passing through the bms. After 20-30 minutes, with a bare hand, you will feel an overheated cell or pair of cells...also you can use a digital medical thermometer, but those usually measure just to 113 ºF/45 ºC, but still serve for this. If you have a pair of new (or used in good shape) 18650 cells, you have to connect them in parallel, before cutting the pair in bad shape, the idea is to "cheat" the bms circuit and never having it without voltage, a fraction of a second and you`ll have to trick the bms for a reborn. All of this also can be done in a laptop shop, but if they charge $30...maybe can be better to buy a new one pack for $50...or maybe they rent tools and space for some of $10/hour (plus tech advice :) ). In the 6th paragraph there is info about no voltage in the bms circuit: batteryuniversity.com/article/bu-911-how-to-repair-a-laptop-battery Regards.
