It's interesting that candidate Cointment says his qualifications for the job is he will hire the best people and provide leadership. What experience does he have hiring people and in leadership? Pretty much zero. And his educational background is unimpressive. Based on his resume, he wouldn't even be granted an interview in a hiring process for a chief executive officer position. He mentions caring about the people a lot, which is certainly commendable, but he just doesn't have the experience for a job like this. He doesn't even run a small company from what I understand - he works under someone else's banner.

Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is covering up Child Sexual Abuse. Ascension Parish DCFS received a report of abuse on May 22, 2017 as did Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office, Detective Schexnayder and Staff Sergeant Shakeema Leblanc. After a forensic exam by the Audrey Hepburn Care Center on July 13, 2017, the hospital faxed its findings to the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office and DCFS on July 18, 2017. Since then, no investigation took place, they never turned the report over to the District Attorney, and the case was closed. WHY??

Speaking to his point about the PM not taking "office" until 2020 and we will have a new council by then....that just ensures they can stack the deck for the NEW council to hire the crony appointed by the chamber of commerce.
