How is that when I turn my ac on, other circuit is getting affected. And I'm not talking about the initial power surge to start ac. I start the ac and a cooler in the other room is getting slow. What's the reason please explain.

The instructions say to use 1 20 amp single pole for each leg. Does it really matter if its two single pole or one double pole?
@TheVirtualElectrician
@TheVirtualElectrician 2 ай бұрын
yes. use the double pole or install a breaker tie between the 23 singles. if you dont install according to manufacturers instructions you may not get the connected load warranty

this is to separate the grounds and neutrals on a subpanel
@stillaliveandwell5291
@stillaliveandwell5291 2 ай бұрын
If the sub panel has an existing ground bar on both sides of the panel can it be used with a neutral and hot (circuit breaker) wire on either side of the panel for example you run out of grounds on one side where the breaker is attached can you attach it on the other side that has empty spots. I have an extra 10 gauge wire ground that I guess you can double up to the last ground on the same side as the neutral and hot. Also in this situation 10 gauge is way over kill for the current (no pun intended) connected devices which are low power audio equipment. Audiophiles can be ocd😂. Seems like a dumb question but as my moniker states I'm still alive and well at 71 and would like to stay that way. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the video. I have a camper, with the mini fridge hardwired. The fridge is broken , so I need to replace it, but all the mini fridges i see have a standard plug. Would you suggest running the wires to a new outlet, or cutting the cord from a new fridge, and splicing the old hardwires to the new fridge?

I’m sure he has the main breaker off. And tested off. Otherwise he is jeopardizing safety personally and the home. Best if main breaker is removed. No connection from the meter to the house at all is best.

I'm pretty sure if you touch the hot wire with one hand and the neutral with the other, the GFCI circuit will NOT trip, and you WILL be shocked.
