😂 The leader was 12lb fluoro...I can't remember what that braid is rated for...but I quickly realized that was the wrong rod for the job, hence the lighter drag and also my hand position on the rod.

I live on Lake Michigan in Wisconsin. We catch quite a few kings throughout the Summer. What is the average expected number of kings you can expect to catch in a day trip? Might have to bring the Big Lake gear along if I travel that way to target the eyes and pike. We use flasher/flies and spoons mainly. Plugs in the Fall when they stage to spawn. Great looking fish!! Congrats!!
@pjbouroncle Жыл бұрын
Every year is different as far as success rate and how steady the bite is. Last year was great for numbers...but necessarily for a lot of giants. I've caught 0...ive caught 18 in a day...it's so hit or miss it can be very frustrating.
