I keep getting ads for this at the moment, i was really interested at first but the moment they showed footage of the gameplay I was really annoyed. I really hate this kind of game, and I agree that its really frustrating that the Doctor Who brand is getting involved with it. The idea of a Doctor Who multiverse mobile game would be great, IN ANY OTHER FORMAT!!!

My main hope is that RTD just completely retcons Ruby's mother being ordinary. It was such a disappointing reveal that I'd be very happy if they just said she was a fob watched Time Lord all along.

My thought was that there was going to be a link between Ruby and Roger ap Gwillam as soon as Ruby's birth father was named as William. But I do like some of these other options too. The mystery of Ruby Sunday was not resolved at the end of the season.

Roger ap Gwilliam being a half-sibling of Ruby would be very interesting, but I just personally don’t want to revisit 73 Yards too much. I love the story as it is and don’t want to risk having questions answered and having the story ruined for me, but I know people are wanting that.

As Ruby was little more than a mystery box i feel like her story should be done now she's found her biological mother. The episode count means there's little time as it is to develop a doctor/companion relationship without having two companions.

5:36 Just a correction, terminology speaking, Carla is Ruby’s adoptive mother, she started as Ruby’s foster mother, then sometime after adopted her, but it’s just mother if you don’t need to make a differentiation between the different types of parents. As an adoptee it’s just important that people get the terms right, as there’s lots of misconceptions.

I had this crazy idea where Belinda does something similar like Clara in Name of the Doctor and it creates another version of her in Ruby's timestream: Mundy Flynn.

I hadn't considered Gwilliam being related to Ruby. I definitely think he'll be back but what form that will take I don't know. Half brother could work If they do create any relations to Ruby, I hope they don't take it too far with 'everyone' being related. Keep it to just one character.

Haven’t watched the video yet but I’m thinking maybe one possible arc for Ruby is just a companion very slowly adjusting back to normal life, having trouble parting with travels in space and time. I think they’ve said Episode 4 is Ruby on her own trying to return to normal, just living her life.

If Roger ap Gwilliam is Ruby’s brother or half brother are they going to do the dilemma of “if you could go back and kill Hitler as a baby would you?”

I didn't realise that Disney+ is now the only platform that can carry DW outside the UK. If BBC America no longer carries it, and only D+ subscribers can therefore watch it, would that account for lower ratings? You're certain to lose huge numbers of previous viewers

I have started playing this again after a whole year. And it still sucks balls. Back in March of last year, I sent them a very lengthy message on their Facebook wall saying how much I disliked it and even gave some suggestions of how to make the game more fun rather than just relying on In App Purchases just to progress, especially with a better solution to earning more crystals and to be more generous with the loot. But alas, they NEVER took my feedback on board and probably thought I was just completely mental or just never learned out of spite as they probably knew I had better ideas than them. Who knows frankly who cares? The game is still pushing players to spend their hard earned money on certain things like Epic Cards, Legendary Cards (mainly the Tardises) and crystals. Almost nothing is free in this game and it makes them really scummy and sleazy.

This may sound weird but I think fifteen is just way too charming. I always liked the way the doctor interacted with people. Like the anger of nine and ten or the not caring of twelve or the manipulative side of seven. But fifteen has no fault in his personality at all, which I think is a crucial part of any doctor, especially new who. The one episode where his character was somewhat interesting was boom. 1:59 Hm… could Belinda be related in some way to Rani from _The Sarah Jane Adventures?_ Perhaps they’re cousins, or maybe Belinda is an ancestor or descendant of Rani’s... there is a precedent for human companions from other eras after all, with Jamie McCrimmon, Leela, and Jack Harkness as just a few notable examples. 🤔

Is it possible that the Doctor saw/spoke to the woman first when Ruby was babbling, and he ran back to the box and shut himself in after hearing her? Because her mom and the prime minister and Kate all shut themselves in something, leaving her out. So maybe by stepping on it, the Doctor activated something against Ruby? I like the abandonment theme; there’s probably something to that. Maybe because she didn’t respect the fairy circle. I like the idea of it being a metaphor of death and that she had to do a good deed to get rid of the nuclear PM guy. But the timeline? By not stepping, it seems he’s still a bad PM…so is he involved at all with the spirit of mad jack? Because technically the doctor said he was horrible but the second time around, didn’t mention anything about a nuclear war….

My theory is since the doctor was the one who stepped on the ferry Circle he obviously was punished by disappearing. But as Ruby is just now entering the supernatural world she had to try and navigate and figure it out on her own without the doctor there to give the Expos and kind of explain how the supernatural World works. I agree with what you said about her learning through the interactions of the entity how it works so that she could then use it to scare away Mad Jack. But I think her being the entity at the end is still her Eternal punishment for reading the messages that were not meant for her so she is in a parallel universe she'll be in this Perpetual Loop where she's just living and being the harbinger of danger
