I’ve seen the movie about 50 times and there’s really no comparison. It was an entertaining live theater experience but the movie is better.

While it’s not a scene for scene adaption of the original film, they did such a great job of adapting this for the stage. Just saw it yesterday in Chicago; the audience was enraptured! Great from beginning to end. Soon appearing on Broadway, see it if you can!

i saw this last night at the dr phillips center in florida, i did stage door and met the whole cast, and i got pictures and an autographed playbill 😭😭😭 my fav musical ever and this cast was AMAZING. THE ONE WHO PLAYED JO WAS AAAAAAAAAHHH SO GOOD. AND THE GUY WHO PLAYED NICK SAID THAT HE LOVED MY NAME 😭😭😭😭 there were a few different cast members tho (the mom, the girl in the pink sweater, and the dad)

JoJo was the best Satine for the Broadway MOULIN ROUGE, hands down. She's not only drop-dead gorgeous and graceful, but she channeled Nicole Kidman fantastically well.
