The US is facing a decision that will decide its future. It is not just facing a military alliance but a financial alliance also. If we jump in on the orders of the western money lords to save THEIR colony we are actually facing the majority of the world. They also have almost all the resources and cheap labor. (Don't forget ITAR has prevented us from exporting arms industry.) We cannot win against their industrialized might in our bloated state. So this will be suicide for our uncle Sam and four eyes! The five eyes and Israel will be the pariah nations when the war ends. You would think that the CIA could see this. I guess when the Mossad has you bound and blinded in bondage you can't see your about to be fucked!!

I love listening Prof. Mearsheimer on Worldwide politics, he teaches us a lot of things that perhaps we would have never understood easily.

usa began badly, and hasn't improved. but, when you are never satisfied, you are going to meet someone too tough for you. russia and prc have tilted the table in the other direction, and instead of counting their loot, usg is reduced to printing empty money. wonder how long that will last? meanwhile, stores are emptying in main street, while cash pours into the corpse of ukraine. this was meant to bleed russia, instead, russia expands its boundary and goes into business with prc, a combo usg will have to walk around, gently. for some reason, directing the usa does not appeal to competent people. opening opportunity to dimwits of low and no character to profit from office. notably the bibery tap opperated by mossad. if you are not american, foreign affairs are a genuine amusement, with an overtone of worry - the dimwits have nuclear weapons.

Liberal world order was mostly Centaurs and nymphs, not ponies and trees one could put a finger on. Justice was an ideal, not a 23:20 pragmatical reality. Same for freedom, equal rights and so on. US has become a police state like the Nazis before whom we took over from even before WWII was over.

Faux liberal order, it was never real, people had no rights in law or courts, and there was little social justice. When Geo Will was declaring Pax Amricana, I knew US system had also failed as well as Communism.

This is an interesting lecture, however there is also a lack of facts and balance imho, concerning the Jewish position. For example: - Lots of the Arabs that left Israel in 1948 did so to make the war against Israel more easy, not because they were forced out. They were promised by Jordan, Syria etc that they would own the land for themselves after all Jews were killed. However, they are living in 'apartheid' within Syria, Jordan since then. - Is Israel, the Arabs do have a political party in the Knesset, jobs, houses, etc; Palestinians from Gaza went to Israeli hospitals (before 10-7). So what are you talking about Israel as an apartheid-state? - The famine in Gaza is not caused by a lack of food import from Isael, but by 'problems' in the distribution within Gaza (caused by Hamas, afaik). btw: the Egyptians could step in easily, but refuse to do so; why? Also the food provided by the US on the Mediterranian shore did pile up, and wasn't distributed properly. It is now rotting away. - The relations of Israel with neighboring states (like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan) remain remarkably stable thus far. - How do you jump into ethnic cleansing so quickly? If this is considered as a 'normal war' in civil territory, the death toll of civillians is about 50-70% according to Hamas-sources. This is high, but given the circumstances not unexpected. You further have to take into account that Hamas is indeed hiding in schools, hospitals, refugee-camps etc, so they are using their own citizens as human shield. - How do you take into account the efforts that IDF make to warn civillians before an attack takes place? - How did you come to the conclusion that IDF wasn't able to counter the Iranian attack? The joint effort is most likely part of the negotiations, and the theatre, imho. But that I don't know for sure; but I doubt your analysis a bit. (Furthermore, the attack was a bit strange: the slow-flying and not-so-devastating drones came first, and a few dangerous ballistic missiles came there-after. What kind of strategy is that?) - What should Israel have done after 10-7? What do you suggest wrt the hostages?

This pro-russian agitator is just hopeless. He reads Pravda and Tass every day. The ukraine front collapsing - just stupidity. For 12 months Putin have taken 1000 km2 and loosing a lot of tanks, men and material. The point for Mearsheimer is how Russia can take as much as possible and create tyranny and concentraion camps the russian way.

Well I respect this man but all of his assumptions about liberal international order are wrong. USA did not want to spread democracy throughout the world, secondly USA did not want to create an open international economy, just wanted to create open markets for its domination. And of course USA established military bases wherever it can, so it cared a lot about power politics.

I think that the Israel Project is an expression of the United States “libido” as it were. The United States isn’t simply being pushed around and dragged into catastrophe by an all powerful force in Tel Aviv. The United States, through Israel, has a plausible excuse to do all those things it wishes it could do, perhaps even on its own shores. But it can’t do them, not out of any moral concern, but out of an obligation to maintain a certain moral reputation and to uphold the historical narrative upon which the US steaks it’s claim to ultimate global power. Israel bears no such bridles. It is a state _founded_ upon segregation, disenfranchisement, class exclusion, and state sanctioned violence. The American constitution is founded upon the opposite principles, yet the US effectively operates in a more subtle, disjointed, and non lethal manner. Through Israel, through the mythology of being a rescuer which delivered the Jewish people from certain extermination in the name of freedom and democracy, the US is granted total plausible deniability to act out its most depraved power fantasy _through_ the Israel project. It is not simply a matter of the tail wagging the dog as Mearsheimer, in all his brilliance and bravery, seems to assert here. Correct me if I’ve misappropriated his words, but I feel his suggestion that Israel “controls” the US exclusively through a donor coalition fails to truthfully depict the grotesque nature of what’s going on, even endowing the US with more plausible deniability as he infantilizes the US congress, claiming the institution to be a sold out cutout of Israeli interest. Congress, being well accustomed to wielding control over global affairs, knows better than anyone what mayhem it’s signing up for. There is equal enthusiasm to seize this mutually insidious opportunity.

The scale of this requires one to choose a side. Mersh has chosen the Arabs. Isreal is a tiny knat in a sea of enemies bent on their destruction. They have no options short or long term. I choose the free world.

Settling means finally admitting we made a huge mistake. Based on what happened in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan that seems unlikely. The majority of all US news organizations have fallen completely in line with the government's choice to continue so there is very little political pressure to end the conflict, other than from maybe a small number of isolationists (Vance is one and some of his venture capitalist buddies are the other). Pretty sad and senseless. But as he mentioned a huge UKR lose on the battlefield might give us the cover to back off. Trump would do whatever would give him the best press or help him financially since he has no ideology and doesn't care about anything else. .Harris will probably follow the BLOB. It doesn't matter what Vance thinks since he is VP, not in charge of anything.

NATO can throttle the war by allowing, finally, Ukraine to hit logistical targets in Russia. The status quo is the policy to avoid escalation, and Ukrainians and Russians are paying the price. The is a lot of incertitude and variables, but if Ukraine can survive another year, it has a good chance of surviving as an independent entity, regardless whether they give up some land. Many Ukrainians will come back when the war is over. The problem is Putin may not survive the end of the war, is a similar situation than Netanyahu, their political and in Putin's case, physical lives depends on continuing the war. But as Chinas economic outlook deteriorates, support for Russia will be less certain.
