What well why it’s got to be about hating, look 👀👀👀at this way the people come to see competitive competition, meaning coming to see the best, in competition not the worst competition, like when Muhammad ALi versus Joe Frazier it wasn’t about No Hating 1 another, it was about who can Box the Best, and Win, Nothing About Hating.

I so envy gymnasts for their physical coordination. At the time I took karate to improve my coordination, I had no idea that I had Aspergers and being on the spectrum can adversely affect a person's coordination. My karate instructor was very elitist and told me that my coordination was poor and that I was therefore, too inferior to be allowed to have offspring! I DID excel in competitive running and the karate instructor would not admit I had any athletic ability and that running doesn't require coordination and therefore, I didn't prove him wrong when he said I wasn't an athlete and was therefore, inferior. I wish I could mention his name here but I do not want to allow him to be able to sue me for telling the truth on a public blog.

Forget race for just a moment. I understood when Simone stepped away from the Olympics 4 years ago. She desperately had a lot to prove to that icky doctor that hurt so many athletes and to herself. Did she take away another’s place?…uuummm I don’t think so. Simone had to earn her spot. That she wants to come back at 26…holy wow. Most gymnasts have retired by 26, gotten married and moved on. Simone you keep dazzling us and I’ll keeping watching. I wish her well.

Don't over hype Sydney-she should stick to the 400m hurdles event -there are upcoming young athletes who are going to be faster than her in both the 100m and 200m. AS FOR GABBY this was just an off day for her she did not do well in the 100m or 200m.

This is why Femke Bol will not beat Sydney. Core speed! Bol is just not fast enough. She could match Sydney in endurance, strength and hurdle form, but if her core speed is less, Bol just can't make that up. Sydney will go sub 50 at Paris in the 400 hurdles and set a new world record!
@Logans3Run

Bol "just not fast enough"? That should explain why she broke the World Indoor 400m record...
@davidpetrosky
@davidpetrosky 12 күн бұрын
@@Logans3RunShe doesn't have the level of strength in her running that sydney does, to touch her top end speed, after clearing all of those hurdles. That's why she beat her so badly, at their last meeting. She doesn't come close to Sydney, in outdoor events. That's just facts.
@temijinkahn511
@temijinkahn511 12 күн бұрын
@Logans3Run She didn't run against Sydney as she doesn't run 400 flat typically let alone indoors. What is Bol's best 200m time? She doesn't run that event because she doesn't have the core speed to be competitive at the top level. Femke is a great athlete. Sydney is an exceptional athlete.

@@temijinkahn511 What in your expert opinion, does "core speed" mean? Interested to know...
@temijinkahn511
@temijinkahn511 11 күн бұрын
@Logans3Run I'm not an expert, but hurdles were my main event when I was an athlete. So, I understand the components of the race that you can improve to go faster . Hurdling has all the requirements for the event without hurdles when it comes to training with the addition of your form going over the hurdles and the number of steps between the hurdles. When you leave the ground, you slow down, so your form is to get you over the hurdle and back on the ground as fast as you can. The more steps you take between hurdles, the more energy you burn. Also, the number of steps affects your lead leg over the hurdle, which can help or hurt you running a turn. Centrifugal force is pulling you to the right on a counter-clockwise track. The tighter the turn and / or the faster the speed, the greater the pull (it's why they bank turns indoors). Landing on your left leg over the hurdle on a turn will pull you to the left slightly. Landing on your right leg pulls you slightly to the right from which you have to work to get back heading left into the turn. More work equals more energy burned. As a student of my event, I knew I could improve on each component individually, which, combined, would improve my performance. But, my genetics was a barrier. No amount of training would get me past it - fast twitch muscle. Google it. Femke Bol doesn't have as much fast twitch muscle as Sydney. This is why you don't see Femke running a 200 against elite competition, let alone winning. All else equal, genetics is king. The equally trained sprinter with more fast twitch muscle will typically beat an opponent with less in their body depending on the percentage difference. The closer the difference, the more variable the result. If Sydney trained for the indoor 400, she would hold the world record, not Femke.
