it is a contact magnetic key that sits right on the yellow part of the lower electronics panel. Watch out review video of the T5 and you will see the cord dangling. @bigguytreadmillreview2 ай бұрын
Oooh I love these types of opportunities. First off, there will be no warranty, be aware of that. Most manufacturers do not allow warranties to transfer. 2nd, get the serial number from the customer and call 3G Cardio - 888-888-7985 - they can tell you the basic history and age. If you can see it in person, turn it to about 4 -5 miles per hour and just listen. A gentle 'bump / bump" noise is normal coming from the seam of the belt going over the front and rear roller. The top of the waking belt should look clean and not scraped. The treadmill itself should sound smooth and consistent. There should not be ticky or clangy sounds. Try the elevation up and down. For the most part, if it looks and sound clean then it is good to go. If this treadmill is over 3 years old, you may be able to ask for a better price. Good luck!

I`m subscribed. Do self propelled bikes last longer than plug in ones ? .thanks
@bigguytreadmillreview2 ай бұрын
This is a tough one but I would say the plug in ones last longer because they have a less complicated system but... there are other factors to consider. A "self propelled" bike is typically built for commercial environments (less available power sources and they don't want power cords running all over the room presenting a trip hazard) so they may simply be built better. Something to be aware of self gen bikes also is that they need to be rode. If they sit too long then you may find yourself having to buy a new battery /generator / alternator.

@bigguytreadmillreview2 ай бұрын
How do you know the deck is not tightened? There is an adjustment on the side for cushioning, did you try to make it more stiff? Decks bolts typically do not come loose. If you bought it new, I would call the place you purchased it from and ask.

Which will last longer, self generated or plug in recumbent bikes ?
@bigguytreadmillreview2 ай бұрын
Plug in for sure. Self-gen has more parts and a generator / alternator that needs to be used someone consistently or it can lead to costly repairs. See this all the time. People buy these club self gen machines, don't use it for a while and then it wont power up and need to replace the gen / alternator. Also, self gen is quite a bit noisier.

Hi from the UK Mike! I love your reviews. No guff or nonsense. Good man. I'm looking to get a LF treadmill. Get away from the subscription 'interactive' rubbish. Simple and straightforward. One BIG question. I really wanted the F3, but am concerned about the belt size, at 140cm (55 inches). Is this long enough to run on, at 6ft tall? It is smaller than most in the class. Big outlay so I really want to get it right. If a bigger belt would be a safer bet then I'll go for the T3 and suffer it not folding. Keep up the good work big fella...
@bigguytreadmillreview2 ай бұрын
UK in the house!! 55".... depends on your running style. If you have a consistent gate and don't run like a sloppy drunk, then 55" could be ok. If you run like me, then it would not be ok. Can you try a machine out in a local store that has a 55" in belt just for size comparison?

Bought one of these myself from Sole direct a few weeks ago. The only difference I see is that yours has a handle built into the rear stabilizer that isn't on mine. On the positive side, it is much more heavily constructed than the Schwinn recumbent it replaces. The Schwinn did give me ten years (and I figure at least 20,000 miles) of use before cracks in the seat mount made me conclude it was unfixable. The Sole should easily outlast me.

Let me help out all who stop here: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BIKE OR ANY OF THESE TYPES OF MACHINES UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO PART WITH AT $200-$400 IF YOU WANT TO RETURN!! I purchased this bike less than a month ago. It is pretty well made but the iFit part is garbage. I have very high speed internet and all of my devices work great. I am still in the trial period and i spend my whole workout time trying to get the video to work. It just buffers. I turned down the quality to 1080p (ancient) and still it buffers. It will probably start working better once I commit to a membership which I will never do. You will be unable to use the oversized monitor/ipad-like part for anything except in manual mode unless you pay $40/month for videos that feature NO RECUMBENT BIKES AT ALL. The immersion experience is not the same with them using a regular bicycle. You cannot even leave a review on their website for this bike. I tried. There are 24 reviews that are not that bad so now I am thinking they are not real but part of the company, which is probably not Nordic Track but some 3rd party company that is more than likely in China or Asia somewhere. They are only interested in making money from subscriptions these days. I am going to start fighting back by not purchasing any equipment that you have to pay a monthly subscription for. The manual mode is much better anyway. All I need is a stand to place my ipad on. I listen to music or use my Meta Quest 3 VR. I would've returned it if I didn't have to pay so much money to do so. This bike is a little over $1500 after taxes and is just not worth it. I hope this helps your future buying experiences for exercise equipment like this. I have learned my lesson.

Yeah, the Bodycraft R200 has been discontinued. If you are finding "closeout" pricing then go for it. I do worry a little bit about needing parts 5 years / 7 years down the road. That would be my only concern otherwise, I like Bodycraft.
@bigguytreadmillreview4 ай бұрын
The flywheel weight does not matter. When you read about that online, that is info from review sites who have no clue what they are talking about. Flywheel weight mattered 40 years ago on those old Tunturi and Schwinn indoor bikes our parents owned (you know, with the little spin resistance dial). The new high end spin bikes use lightweight / high grade components and for the flywheels, lighter is better (and much less wear and tear on the bearings!) And, flywheel weight definitely never mattered on recumbent bikes with free wheel motion. Well, the 3G Cardio Elite RB is a better quality product. Also, considering the Bodycraft R200 is now discontinued that make it easy for me to point you to the 3G. But, if you can find a smoking deal on a closeout Bodycraft R200 then that may give you reason to go in that direction. Bodycraft is a solid brand and not a department store hunk of junk..
