I think the flag of the State of North Carolina would be perfect and almost necessary flying underneath Old Glory.

Probably 3-4k a month or more. This is the only problem living in leftist cities because they put low income housing in decent neighborhoods. This is what you get.

Out the front door of my new house I see two gigantic American flags. Probably not that big but one of the larger scale.

This is a long story. In December 1986 ,I was at at gig in London U.K. by the Jesus and Mary Chain. There I met a woman from Charlotte N.C. and we exchanged addresses and started corresponding regularly as friends. I had been into the Punk scene in England since April 1976 and had amassed quite an impressive and rare record collection in those ten years. I was at a crossroads in life in 1986 aged 24,I was having various problems in England and was extremely bored and not knowing what to do. I had been invited over to Charlotte in a few letters,I had no passport and in fact had never left the U.K. before.I am working class and spent my wages on records and having a good time, gigs etc. Eventually,in 1987 I decided to get a Passport,U.S. visa ,sold all my records and quit my job of seven and a half years. I arrived in Charlotte N.C. In August 1987,I was picked up at the airport by Clay Rogers, former vocalist with Charlotte hardcore band ‘Social Savagery’,he was room mates in Sunnyside Avenue with Bill Cates, first bassist with Antiseen. I hung out with the Charlotte Punkers nearly the whole time I was in Charlotte, months in fact.I went to see ‘Naked Raygun’ at a venue I can’t remember and got to meet them all. We also saw ‘Charged GBH’ and ‘The Accused’ in South Carolina. Also the ‘Dead Milkmen’ at the Milestone club, that I can remember nothing about because of ‘White Cross Pills’. I remember a superb party at Jeff Haney’s house,he was quiet but very friendly. He had a jukebox containing 60’s Garage classic singles. I had the best time even though I was developing psychological problems due to childhood issues. I eventually had to return to the U.K. because I couldn’t get a visa extension. But I think of the Charlotte Punkers very often and I love them all.

Love Life is a horrible, creepy organization. They just want to terrorize both the patients and the workers at the clinic. They also run one of those “crisis pregnancy” vans where they lie and pressure patients if they can lure them in. They offer nothing. They’re a religious cult only. They rake in tons of money in donations, but it mostly goes to admin, not to women or babies. They are not “non-judgmental.” They are very judgmental and with the overturning of Roe v Wade, they are getting dangerously emboldened.
