I’ve noticed there 2 swoops. The clip where you see grapple an preceptor firing then you see legs like swoops running across the screen. Nxt min he’s on the shuttle with other dinobots

I've always suspected Astrotrain and Starscream planned this. Astrotrain needed to "jettison weight." In space. Mass maybe, but not weight. And since he'd made runs from Earth to Cybertron before - with fighting involved - why was he so low on fuel? I think the plan was they dump Megs, Starscream becomes the king, and Astrotrain gets Air Commander over the other Seekers.

FACTS: The Decepticons agreed to "Survival of the Fittest." This was voted on. If Soundwave would have said, "Megatron needs to be saved," the other Decepticons would have said, "If you want Megatron to stay, you will need to take Megatron's place being removed from Astrotrain." Obviously, Soundwave would not be able to do that - especially when you consider Rumble, Frenzy, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ratbat, and others are all dependent on Soundwave. Also, keep in mind the writers were in a position where they needed to have Megatron turned into Galvatron. So, the writers couldn't have Soundwave tell all his cassettes, "We are going to defend Megatron" the way Soundwave may have done in a normal episode.

yeah there were a lot of things that didn’t make sense in this movie, but that’s because at the time Hasbro was made up of executives who didn’t think about how the death of a lot of characters would affect their audience as to them. It was just a show about toys they didn’t think the kids could actually care about the characters on screen. For the G.I. Joe movie that they were also making they were going to have Duke killed however, due to the negative reception of Optimus prime, dying in this movie, they decided to quickly edit the scene, they had already made so that duke just goes into a coma.

And stuff like this is why Soundwave, wised tf up to be leader of the Decepticons in Skybound comics, as he beated and ripped the circuits out of Starscream to take leadership. I commend him for it, Starscream had it coming just in he wanted to pull this shit in the comics

You got it wrong.. Soundwave didn't care about "survival of the fittest".. Soundwave knows if he is to intervene he too would have been booted out by the rest of the Decepticons.
