very helpful. got my Alarmo setup with this video. One question on the script for playing the siren. I added the wait template (new to this wait template concept) , but i am assuming it will not automatically play the sound file again as mentioned in the video (does it ?) . It does not for me. I had to add another action after the wait template to play the sound. Is there a way to play the file on repeat until the the player is stopped or alarm is disarmed.

Is there no option to specify the frequency? The BroadLink app asks for the RF frequency (433 MHz for example), which varies from device to device. Otherwise learning a remote via Home Assistant does not work.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong but after connecting to my WireGuard vpn. My ip address still shows the up that of the phone service provider. I will reboot my server and router tomorrow to see if this changes anything. Wife is watching Plex right now 😂

The router only gives access to the internet.

You might want to mention that a hard-wired Ethernet connection is required - I was trying to set up on an old Windows tablet and ran into tons of issues before realizing what the problem was. Once I got an Ethernet to USB C adapter, things went pretty smoothly :)

Thanks for this- your tutorials are really helpful. I am trying to get the snapshot to my Alexa device instead of a phone and almost everything works except the snapshot doesn't show up on Alexa. It is taking the screenshot and saving it on HA as I can see the screenshot but it's not sending them to my Alexa device. I get the message on Alexa but not the image. Maybe the folder structure has changed?

Thanks for the guide Juan. Question regarding what happens when you need to restart the Adguard container or maybe restart Unraid or do maintenance to the home server. I know it means Adguard will obviously not work, but is there a way to set up the router to have a backup DNS instead in that downtime before coming back again?

set up according to your instructions. In unraid I can ping the iphone. But there is no internet connection on iphone. cannot connect to any website. all browsers on iphone just hang and do not connect. how to fix ?

Great Video - The only info being helpful would have been that for a list of commands you need to add a "-" as a prefix (as shown in your video - otherwise Home Assistant concatenates all entries into one command.

this needs an updated video. i already had this running before and then when i wanted to see how to get it to work through DNS so all devices just use it automatically, i ended up trying to delete the whole thing and start over and it wouldnt let me and now im reinstalling it and these things still look different and dont look the same in some places. im so confused.

I'm curious, if I have a matter device added to Home Assistant, will it also be visible and controllable in google home if I scan the QR code? in other words can I view and control a matter device from both HA and Google Nest/Home interchangeably?

Thanks for the video,helps, howerver I'm unable to learn it my RF remotes on 433.92Mhz frequency. No problem when using the Broadlink App, you can set the MHz, however in HA I can't. I've checked the Broadlink doco for HA and tried to get the data using python / cli but failed as those are fairly outdated. Any ideas on how to specify the frequency?? Any ideas? Or any alternative to RM4 Pro? (that itself works really well!) Thank you
