I served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps and I have nothing but the utmost love and respect for my brother Marines across the pond! Well done lads! WELL DONE! Those young RM commando's passing out brought back a lot of memories for me when I graduated/passed USMC boot camp in San Diego,CA. 2 years later I had the honor of serving with RM commando's in Norway March 1986. In fact No 9 or it may have been No. 6 Commando. Anyway you know who you are when you cheeky bastards decided to interrupt this young weary Marines slumber when you blokes initiated an ambush on another commando unit pushing through approx a couple hundred yards away from our bivouac area! Good on ya though!!!!! I have always considered Royal Marines as our older more dignified brothers LOL!!!! If I ever get the pleasure of coming across one of you RM's be it active duty or veteran, we will immediately adjourn to the nearest pub and down a few pints and tell a few war stories! Semper Fidelis my brothers!!!!!!!
