So this video I found on my phone was recorded well over a year ago! I wanted to tell you that this only happened once I completed the extension kit. I was able to quickly fix this issue by loosening the eccentric nuts on the bottom of the gantry by 1/4 of a turn. This was an instant fix and NEVER had this issue again! If your missing steps… try this trick and let me know!

Your logic for the layout here makes sense i.e. when you come to the end of a row and the piece that's cut off starts off the next row. The problem with that is the pattern becomes predictable and the reveal is unappealing. I will randomly cut planks to different lengths as I go to avoid this predictable pattern. In the long run, waste is not a big deal. I will also try to determine how many patterns there are on the planks before I start. I will then open all the boxes and sort the patterns out into piles. Here's my rules on the patterns (pretty simple). I never install a plank next to another one just like it (i.e. top, bottom, left or right....NEVER put the same pattern next to one just like it). Another tip: Buy at least one extra box, maybe two so you won't get stuck at the end of your project with planks having the same pattern side by side. It's important to keep a couple boxes intact so you can return the unused planks when you're done. I only wish I could attach a picture to show how much difference it looks when you stagger the planking compared to this video. It looks so much better. Another thing to mention is with ProCore flooring, it already has a padding built onto each plank. If you're worried about waste, laying down an underlayment for this type of flooring is exactly that...waste. You don't need it for this flooring, and that's why this flooring cost just a bit more.

I have been doing this for years. How strong you want it depends on how much you pack the cup. He practically made a triple expresso. 😂 Filling it just up to the top of the screen level will give a perfect expresso. Any more scoops will double and triple the strength. For me the strength depends on what I’m doing for the day (or night😉). 😂
