I suugest a Trangia kettle, many months of wandering around Norwegian mountains with an MSR petrol stove (not a Trangia) But the Trangia kettle was always kept me company and served very well as kettle/teapot. You have to keep yourself hydrated 😊

Beautiful filming. Love your videos. We ditched our kettle and just use our pan and lid & we have the same pans mixed with Tefal. Works really well.

Hi Ken and Carole Just returned home today from our 3 week Derbyshire and Yorkshire tour and just thought we would let you know that we cooked your Corned Beef hash recipe when we were away. It was absolutely delicious and something that's going to be on motorhome meal plan from now on. We refer to it as Ken and Carol's corned beef hash, so thanks so much for sharing it. Steve & Carole.😋

Hi guys great video we love your channel and you guys, you did have us laughing when the check list turn off engine !! 😂😂🤣🤣 We thought what Sanrio would that be used, laying in bed saying whats that noise and bunny says did you turn the engine off. 🤭🤭. It’s a lovely part of the country you are in. Also i am your diet support stop eating the burgers stick to healthy foods. Lol i know it’s hard but be strong Ken. We visited the newark Campervan show and visited consort stand. We looked in the Nova van its very nice but it needs some modification for us to get one. I talked to them and was not that impressed with how helpful they came over as we were looking at placing an order.( But thats another story) If you fancy seeing it please take a look it’s on our channel. We Love watching your adventures stay safe we hope to meet up some time and say hi. Michael & Kim 🫶👍

We will take a look. Turn the engine off on the checklist is an attempt to stop me turning it off before I have ensured the wheels are not sticking out and the mirrors are tucked in. 😁👍

I live on the edge of the New Forest and we do get a lot of young people doing their DOE here. You are seeing areas of burnt heathland because the forestry workers carry out controlled burning as part of the management of the land. Thank you for the video 😁

Great work guys. I love The New Forest. My 7 year old son doesn’t love it, work in progress! I have the same Ridge Monkey kettle. Superb bit of kit. Have you been to Dartmoor/Devon? Similar to The New Forest but more raw. Best of luck to you both.

You might find that the Trangia25 kettle is less irritating than the split handle one too…. It does 2 mugs of tea/coffee quite comfortably and boils quickly on the van’s gas ring.

The gorse is burned in controlled fires to allow the grassy areas to spread and provide food for the grazing animals. Not many animals like to eat gorse, but sometimes donkeys will have a go at it!
