My sister stepdaughter went to Kyoto and got the same one. Mine looks green but it’s blue. I was so grateful to her for getting me one as I will never get to go to Japan due to illness. I also brought the Tokyo edition in the UK. I have one passport and 4 standards. I really wish I could go to Japan. I can only hope my husband takes my TNs back to there birth place at some point lol

Thanks for your comment! Sorry to hear about your health condition, but it's so nice that you have some pieces from Japan at your hand. Plus, your collection is expanding!! Would love to hear about how you differentiate the usage for each of them!

I like what you said about using the passport size as a wallet so you always have that “travel vibe” even if you’re not travelling- i relate to this! I have the Amazon version of that wallet insert… now i want to use it as a wallet too! I love your simplicity as well. Thanks for the inspiration! New sub! 😊

Thanks for the message & subscribing to my channel! Perhaps it's the name, but there is something about carry around Traveler's notebook that makes me happy :) Hope your TN passport get to move around with you as a wallet on a daily bases!

I enjoy hearing your insights on what you like and dislike about your various planners. Your videos do a good job of explaining to us why you are experimenting with different things. I am also trying to figure out the optimal planning setup, and it helps me sort out my own thoughts.

Which one did you buy from AnalogAlicia to fit in the TN? TIA
@minimalish.journal9 күн бұрын
So I downloaded in Personal size. When printing on A4 paper, I just hit "fit to the paper". This is because the height of TN standard is same as A4! I've tried two templates but so far so good!

Oh I’m missing using my tns - they have neglected in my ring planner exploration… now I want to make inserts too… I think diy inserts means we can make any style we want!
@minimalish.journal9 күн бұрын
I'm also on the same boat and that is why I decided to try 30 days challenge with TN (video is coming up next week!). Making TN insert is new experiment for me, however, I also noticed it's not that easy and flexible like rings with my limited printing skill.
@tortagialla9 күн бұрын
@@minimalish.journal Making planner inserts with dates and such is more difficult but if you just make blank or creative journaling kind of inserts it’s more forgiving of course! I wish you luck in your challenge!

I have a 5 yen coin on my TN, too. It is from the year that my husband and I met in Japan, Heisei 5 (1993) We were English teachers in Mito. That's 31 years ago! Thank you for sharing , especially your Reflections journal.

Thanks for sharing about the beautiful story of your 5 yen coin!! And it's so interesting that you've met each other in Japan. Reflection journal is something I started this year, and I'm hoping using the nice notebook will motivate me and keep me on track.

Yes, to be honest TN passport size is quite tiny and it's not so functional for me. But I wanted to use it so badly (too cute to sit on the shelf) so I'm not using it as my wallet! Also, it's nice to have one notebook that I can scribble anything.

I stumbled upon your channel today when I was doing my Watch later list. I am so glad I stopped and clicked on your video. Thank you for sharing your insight to the japanese currency. I think that's cool that you found 1 with your birth year. When I traveled year as a child and then a teenager anytime we got change back we would look through the coins to see if we could find our birth year and keep those for a keep sake. More videos from your channel. I just subscribe..

Thanks for the lovely comment! Your message reminded me that I also used to keep the leftover small coins, all the different currency mixed up in one jar. It's a bit sad that we are using less and less of physical money in that sense.

I have loved this notebook for some time but it is quite expensive to get in/to UK. I appreciate that I can enjoy the notebook through your use of it. Loved your setup and glad to hear you are going with what works for you. I was very excited to see another video from you. It was cute to hear children having fun in the background, life is real, pretending otherwise will only make it harder to find time for joy. Thank you for another great video. 🙏🏽🙌🏾💖🫶🏽

Yes, TN is a bit pricey notebook option but my previous one is still nice after 10 years. Considering it's durability, I decided to get my second one which I'm committed to use for the next decade! Thank you for your generous comments on the background noise. It can be a bit disturbing to watch my video, but if I wait for a quiet day at home, I can never film anything, so I decided to document my real life ;)

@@minimalish.journal yes I have to admit I have a few TC TNs for different purposes. I’m sure I will get the Kyoto edition as soon as I find a good deal. In the mean time I can enjoy it through you. For me real life is always better. I try to live by, if I can do it now, I should do it now. I live by myself but sometimes too tired to do anything due to fatigue and disability so if I feel like, I can do this now or even try now I seize the moment because later might not come. Thank you for keeping it real and relatable. ☺️🙏🏽

It was so lovely going down Stationery Memory Lane with you. I have just subscribed as this your second video I am watching, you have a lovely voice and I enjoy hearing the joy and excitement in your voice when talking about the stationery you have enjoyed over time. I have enjoyed stationery from when I was a school girl and can hear that same excitement in your voice. Your Traveler’s plastic wallet has held out well, I have seen others that have fallen apart in a few years but I guess that may be due to less use. You could use it as temporary sticker storage or as a cover page that create to express your joy of the trip. I love your Hobonichi A5 cover I hope they bring that one back. I am an A5 journaler as I write a lot in the daily pages and sometimes have to tip-in extra pages to continue writing. I also really enjoyed seeing the 2014 Travelers Regular size Boarding Pass writing board, I image it must bring back some happy memories when you see it. I think I will search that one out for myself as I have the new blue Travelers Airline regular notebook cover. You have a lovely Washi tape collection and I love that stationery is a hobby you share with your mum. My thing with my mum is fresh Indian vegetable shopping or food shopping - we like to eat healthy 😛. If you ever decide you want a penpal from London do message me about it. Looking forward to more of your videos and thank you for sharing what makes you happy and your old closet discoveries from home. Varsha🥰🙏🏽✍🏾
