I am an old Leicester man. It's pity that this was filmed in such a way as to make it almost impossible to know where you are. Once we hit the prison, I could follow the route but it would be helpful to to indicate on- screen.

Thanks would look at doing that the bus goes down lots of new roads you probably never seen starts at haymarket goes down a new road where the abc cinema used to be then up by the new shopping centre then goes by the magazine gateway and down to the prison past tigers ground then up Waterloo way to train station then up Charles Street Granby Street then back to start at haymarket

Nice video, thanks for sharing. Seen as far as it goes for now, will be even more fabulous when the Loughborrough gap is finally completed, giving about 18 miles one way trip from Ruddington to Leicester North terminus, then likewise return. Thank goodness the preservationists acted when they did, to save the the route for future generations to experience the journey.🙂👍

As for trespassing im actually filming from behind a fence the track crosses at an angle so the fence on other side of road is further forward than the barrier so looks like your trackside when you're not if you check Google Street View you can see where I was standing behind a fence also you can't be trespassing standing on a public highway

Nice vid, I visited Wigston in 2011 from the Caribbean to set up a business. I took this same route so it brings back good memories, nice people!!!
