After 4 straight banners in a row (Black Swan, Sparkle, Acheron, & Robin) where I failed the 50/50, I managed to get Firefly in only 40 pulls! I was so thrilled and FF was definitely worth the jades!

The latest Pure Fiction was totally broken if you had a DoT team. Being able to carry over ALL your DoTs you applied to another enemy was totally busted! Then there was this mini-Kafka effect where you advance forward an enemy upon hitting them so they get the DoT hit sooner rather than later! It was a DoT's character's delight!

Great Guide for newer players. I'd like to add something about Relic Sets, Relics in this game can be very RNG and sometimes your luck is horrible. But my advice for newer players is to not focus as much on specific sets but rather the stats/substats. Until you are later in the game and can farm for best in slot 4pc sets, its often better to go 2pc/2pc or even full rainbow (no set bonus) if the stats are what you need. Relic farming in this game can be a chore and it may take forever to get the perfect set. I tend to farm generic sets that are more universal. The two big domains that I farm are the ones with the Quantom/Guard sets for DPS and supports and the Longevious/Hackerspace for Supports. These 4 sets are good enough for the early to mid game and then you can start branching out.

It's good to know the devs actually play the game and can actually make official guides. Imagine if SQEX did this for DFFOO instead of the community having to relay entirely on third party tools...

E0S1 vs E0S1, Firefly seems to be much better than Acheron in cases where Firefly can break. I tend to run Adventurine, Acheron, Black Swan, and Kafka on a team and my Acheron hits ~300k - ~500k depending on how many enemies there are. On one enemy, Acheron might hit for ~100k - ~200k. Firefly tends to hit ~200k - ~300k on one enemy with a super break and 500k+ if theres a group of broken enemies. My suspiscion is that its not so much that Firefly is amazing but more so that Super Break is a bit OP.

I feel both games are vastly different and caters to different audiences, but since there wasn't any competitor before WuWa, people would just play it out of the sake of popularity. Genshin is a game focuses on team composition and elemental reactions. Not sure if anyone remembers back in 1.0, Genshin wasn't exactly that easy to play too, especially when you are up against multiple Ruin Guards and Ruin Hunter. It's only because of power creeping that turned the game into straight number crunching. World of Warcraft too had this same problem as it gets old. WuWa is still new, it's only 1 month new, and I can bet you right now that this game will fall in the same situation as Genshin give it 2 years. What parry, what dodging, when you can do 10,000 damage a hit, have 50,000 HP, and can kill any boss in under 10 seconds. This is the basis of how live-service game works, power creeping is inevitable, how else would you get players to spend on new characters? I'm currently enjoying WuWa, union level 44, completed main story, didn't bother with half of the side quests, I have Verina but since switching to Jianxin I've never used Verina again outside of tower (forced to use multiple team). Having Jianxin on the team is just like having Zhongli, her shield is strong enough to tank through an instant kill attack from challenges, and we're still not max leveled yet, just imagine at level 90, we'd have higher DEF and HP, as well as doing more damage, challenge contents would not be so challenging anymore.

It's pretty early but this game rocks and is better than Genshin. The weapon banner is 100% if you get a 5 star and soft pity starts at 60 pulls. There are also things to do when you are out of waveplate(resin), you can farm echo. Missed your takes on DFFOO and playing it.

This is fantastic! Do you know where there is a set list of the cards? My set of Honkai cards is out of 178. I got a Luo Cha that is 25/178 and it was super fancy but it got messed up in the pack and was kinda damaged. I can't find the card list so I don't know what order to put them in for my binder haha.
