"if their music was better" not the backhanded compliments again, music is subjective...their music might not be for you but they managed to built a loyal fanbase through their unique concept which a lot of girl groups can't achieve yes a "loyal fanbase", they don't need "better music" to sell out, they already did with their current music and nmixx are doing very well without having to appeal to the general public, they have great album sales and chart well too lol

What theyre saying is that they aren't doing all kills like AESPA did with Supernova or shaking the industry the way New Jeans did. They are recognized for their talents and they have Sullyoon who should have gotten so much attention for her visuals and she DOES get attention but I hear about other 4th gen visuals much more often. And Sullyoon is TOP TIER visual. It's because they need some songs that people will eat up and that will continue showing how talented they are. this group isn't meant to be just a good popular group. They could be on top. They slay every performance. If they had songs that were extremely catchy and impossible to ignore, they'd have much, much more than what they have now, even if you think this is enough. They're the Mamamoo of 4th gen, they could literally run and hit notes

@@ethnikistar but is that what the girls wanted though?? yall talk about chart success and the general public's approval but the girls themselves said it many times, they don't care if their music is not mainstream, they want to keep doing what they're doing and they are happy, sullyoon is already popular enough on her own, haewon is booked and busy in korea, lily is loved by global fans, and the other members are all recognised for their talents by notable figures in the industry..nmixx are doing well and if they hate their music, they will definitely come out with a generic "girl group song" that yall want them to have but the girls are hell bent on doing what they love lol, they don't need PAK or Newjeans type of success, they are doing good in their own league
