Trader Joe’s is located in Midtown, not Plaza Midwood. In Plaza Midwood, the only significant grocery store is Harris Teeter, situated at the intersection of Central and The Plaza.

In the 1990s and early 2000s, NoDa was a prime destination for the arts, known for its vibrant galleries. However, over time, these galleries have been replaced by restaurants and bars, transforming NoDa into more of an entertainment hub.

Home buyers need to cut the original selling price in half, like offer half of what people are asking. And walk away from the house if the home owner doesn’t agree. If everyone starts to do this house prices will drop because they won’t be able to sell their house. We should do this for 30 years so they really drop the prices. In the meantime tent out or live in your car and save the money you would have spent on rent. Value things differently than how the system wants you to.

I pray there is never a fire. Only means of exit is a single point of entry at ground level. No other street level exits. With the units so close, if a neighbors unit caught fire that could threaten your safety. Looks nice but I would most definitely pass.

You are correct, this is actually $2.2M - $540/SF for new construction in Myers Park is pretty typical. You can find new construction from $280K up to $5M+ on my channel around Charlotte (just not $280K in Myers Park lol). Thanks for watching and commenting!

I have been living in Charlotte, NC since 2015. The cost of living has tripled in the last 10 years, but I love Charlotte. However, I will be moving in the next year because I am so bored, and many of my friends have had to move to other areas due to the high cost of living. As a result, I have no social life anymore.

The problem is rude New Yorkers (and New Jersey) or former New Yorkers who came here via Florida. North Carolina is not the same as it was in the 90s. Everything is so much more expensive now. When I was young I could buy a house for under 100K. Even five years ago, I could buy a nice house for under 200K. The New Yorkers insisted on increasing property taxes, and now the schools are poorly rated. Lake Norman schools used to be 9/10 or 10/10 in the 2000s are now they are rated 3/10. Many native North Carolinians have moved out to the more rural areas or the mountains.

The 85 south and 485 interchange going out of Charlotte towards Gastonia is congested because the roads take all inner and outer traffic of 485, merge it down to one lane that ends when it slots in to 85 south. If 85 south were narrowed down by a lane and the 485 traffic was given a free flowing lane it might be better, but there are no plans for this.

Preaching to the choir - I drive this intersection 1-2/wk week and it's insane. There's only a couple backroad options to get around it. I just tell myself it's still so much better than Atlanta traffic. Lol.

Raleigh is completely over rated. Street racing is definately a problem. Crime is definately on the rise. No idea why you would say that Raleigh is friendly... it all depends on the street or neighborhood you are in. I find Raleigh to be very fake nice and people close themselves in their homes.

I am born and raised in Charlotte, only south of the city is worth moving to for safety and quality of life. South Park, Ballantine, Matthews, Pineville, Mint Hill, however the pricing is not for the light of wallets. Anything else you are risking your life. The crime rate was improving until their got rid of police chief Monroe. The sheriff, county commission, city council and mayors are a complete joke and very soft on crime and constantly release dangerous criminals back on the streets and advocate policies to continue such and ponder why we have a crime issue. The traffic here is terrible and the mass transit is laughable.
