I grew up as a huge horrid henry fan with the show and the books (since I’m british lol) and I can tell you that henry is mostly deserved for his punishments since he actually does do awful things. A thing I remember is that in the original books he actually beats up anybody who really pissed him off with detailed sentences describing how he beats them, they were censored with the weird ass transformation scenes in the cartoon. However his parents are extremely fucking punishing especially over nothing and such but it is a kids book and cartoon series so idk. I grew out of it when I was a teen anyways lol

This was probably the first time in the entire movie I consciously processed Bashful's presence because there was just no personality to any of the kids. (Maybe Grumpy, but I was just annoyed by him.) Now here she comes declaring a character trait and I'm just like, "WHO ARE YOU!?"

I’ve always liked this show. Dudley is an idiot protagonist who doesn’t come off as too annoying. And he had his moments of competency that show why he’s an agent in the first place. & I might be biased due to growing up watching Nickelodeon, but the way the channel does comedy, specifically in Butch or Scott Fellows shows, has always appealed to me. I find the goofy comedy of this show very funny, especially because it isn’t afraid to make the other characters around Dudley occasionally stoop down to his level of idiocy. The writing almost reminds me of something like Wordgirl, with its slight meta-ness & how I find it charming

I personaly hated this show, but i can see why people liked it.. While i liked the general artstyle (or at least not dissliked), i absolutely couldn't stand Clarence's character. HI dislike childish characters, and Clarence was way worse than most i do remember. Additionaly i didn't like his voice and manner of speaking, i also disliked him being fat (kill for it, but it just not nice to look at) and having two teeth. That said, when Clarence was airing, as was alerady a teen, and i was used before to few shows with more juvenile characters, so maybe i would like Clarence more if i was itroduced to it earlier.

Horrid Henry tried to be what Dennis the Menace and Gnasher was. I'm American but I love Dennis the menace but Henry is just so boring and annoying instead of being fun. I personally only remember the crossovers with FOP and all the other shows Mr.Hartman made for Nickelodeon but it's really just kind of forgettable and I'm glad Mr. Hartman quit after this.

I remember REALLY liking Marsha's and Zeke's design when this show first came out.

Despite the uninteresting main character (lazer hawk is just angry gay edgelord, im not impressed) and the forced gay romance scenes. The show is worth watching for 3 things -decent action -okay world building -characters like Rayman and Bullfrog My only other major complaint is that they kill off main characters really fast. You don't really get a ton of time with them. But im kinda hoping the second season goes with a similar format. Even if the guest characters get killed off fast. They seem to get 1-3 moments to shine. Sam fisher alone got one of best and creative stealth sections in an episode.
