Fernando!! I always struggled with this. Could this be kept a huge secret? Sure. However, look at the level of technology that the U.S.A. has progressed. Yeah, in some way, there were major accomplishments, but nothing, like a HUGE boom, like we seen during World War II til the early 1970s. I would expect cures in many of the major diseases, renewal energy, upgraded transportation. And I get it, in that Humanity Technology, is around 10 years behind, in what it should be. I just can't see the tradeoff, with Alien's for this. If you are going to make a deal, then, really make a deal. There, I just can't see the Eishenhower Administration, not getting more in forms of tech in a lot of forms. Heck, it would be nearly like Fall Out Tech. Especially, during, The Cold War. U.S.A would want to get a large lead in military, and not, in some ways, be only one to two steps ahead of military tech. If this were done, and say, curing Cancer, the common cold, or an STD like Herbes, could not be cured in the 1950s with this agreement, then the trade off, would not be worth it. So, what is the alternative? That the US Gov goes public with this, and so people will know, rally behind the US Govt? Plus, why not the Aliens reach out to the Soviet Union? Now, I could see a deal, with the Soviets, due to how much territory they have, and were more restrictive then the USA. And I would imagine, the Soviets, would luv to get their hands on tech, to get a real leading step in the world. Also, China or India, could be added to the mix. Countries, with a huge population.
