Her playing is so amazingly beautiful and uplifting, almost as much as her smile is. The video of her playing Vivaldi at the airport is the best I have seen of her delightful smiles.

I don't understand how she can play an 11-minute song straight through with no notes. That's an amazing level of skill.

To be that good at a piece after only one month, regardless of what you do or play is impressive. As long as she is supported not only by the Symphony but by those around her she can have a long and successful career. would be interesting to see her play with another symphony, but she looks like she is having fun where she is at present.

While amazingly talented let's not kid ourselves behind this is an incredible amount of practice and hard work. She has put in more time in practice than most masters. It also takes an incredible amount of humility to become so good. Simply splendid and amazing.

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO INSANELY JEALOUS OF CHLOE'S TALENT!!!!!!!!! Dear Chloe Sensei, I realise that you're INCREDIBLY busy with your school work and all the practicing that you have to for all your upcoming concerts, but I DESPERATELY want to pass grade 8 piano exam!!!!!!! This being the case, PLEASE could I lean on your INCREDIBLY KIND AND GENEROUS nature and ask you to sit it for me?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!! In SHEER DESPERATION, Your number one fan.

I didn't like the interpretation, it was very fast and took away all the beauty of the concert. I'm a big fan of Gil, but I didn't spend this execution

A most musically satisfying performance. The pianist fully understands the drama and wide range of feelings Beethoven expressed in sounds. Bravo to him. I love the tempi. Wonderful to listen to.

Chua has extremely good technique but she doesn't capture the diabolical Paganini spirit. She's still young and isn't familiar with the Italian sense of bel canto. This orchestra plays uninterestingly with no excitement. Nobody matches Salvatore Arcado for this concerto.

The 1600 people in Esplanade Concert Hall that night did not agree with you. Accado used the heavy brass and percussion version for his recording, a nuisance to listen to.

You have no idea what you are talking about. The "diabolical Paganini spirit" is incompatible with bel canto, and Chloe and the SSO avoid it, and employ the original version of the score, precisely with the purpose of performing the work in the bel canto style (which virtually no one else does). In so far as you think "This orchestra plays uninterestingly with no excitement," you need to grow up.

I see her in the video and sometimes I feel she is a grown up, and sometimes I feel she is a young kid... and then I checked and saw her age: 17... so when I was 17, I was partly grown up, and partly a young kid

Great orchestra. But this conductor makes really odd tempo changes, sometimes especially slowing down to a crawl, I don’t know why. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have watched Chloe in the less-than-serious episodes with TwoSet, and knew she was pretty good. But *_this_* ... I am speechless. That smile she shared with the conductor at the end, they both knew what she had just accomplished.

In particular, they knew what she had accomplished in the formidable 25 minute first movement, which had included the notorious Sauret cadenza. Compared to that, this finale is just a warm-down!
