Great lab session! I want to ask how much the iso-inclination will interfere the measurements if the sample surface is not flat? If the sample has a dome shape on the top, will the iso-inclination be a bad measurement type for texture? What you would suggest if we can only perform iso-inclination but still want to perform texture measurements? Thanks.

Greetings! Thank you for your question and your interest in Live from the Lab! For side or iso-inclination, the best thing to do for irregularly shaped samples is to constrain the size of the beam and/or use an equatorial soller, which will mitigate issues with sample displacement and surface roughness.
