Ok you just kinda glossed over what I have spent the last hour trying to figure out because I’m baffled. I did understand the hinges only fully close one way- mine are rounded on the jamb side and straight on the door side. Therefore I can only put them on one way. It does close but I was so confused why the hinge pin feeds UP from the BOTTOM?! I’ve never ever seen this and was questioning what the heck until I saw you comment to do it this way. What am I missing?!
@daddoesvideos12 сағат бұрын
Hey there. Yeh, the pin shouldn’t be feeding up. If your door handle is on the left side of the door (and you are opening toward yourself), the straight part of the hinge should be on the door jam. And it’s the opposite if the handle is on the right side of the door. Either way, the pin should be on top of the hinge.

Without your KZfaq on how to fix the dryer door I probably would’ve had to throw the Maytag dryer away. It was easy enough to get the door apart and a replacement hinge from Amazon for my Maytag. It fit perfectly. But without your instructions, putting that Rubik cube back together again would’ve been impossible. As it was, Maytag doesn’t make it easy. bottom line doors repaired and saved $1500 maybe $2000. I know the repair man would have charged $500 too.

A friend bought and assembled an NXT 54 portable goal. However, something went wrong because the backboard faced down 45 degrees no matter the height adjustment. I offered to take a look. Unfortunately, the assembly instructions were trashed so I turned to YT and your remarkable step-by-step assembly process. When comparing your assembled goal to this one, it became apparent that part 51, the highest section of the post, had been twisted 180 the degrees and resulting in the downward angle. After a couple hours of careful disassembly and frequent check-ins on your video, part 51 was twisted another 180 degrees, bolts and nuts were reconnected and the goal is ready for action. You saved the day. Thank you so much for this post!

Do you have to tell Carmax that it is a leased car in the beginning? If not, when is it best to say that?
@daddoesvideosАй бұрын
You can tell them whenever. It doesn’t matter. I will say, though, that a lot of leasing companies have stopped allowing consumers to sell leased cars like this. I’d just call your leasing company and ask if you are allowed to sell your leased car. Carmax would know, too.

Does the hinge pin come out, how?
@daddoesvideosАй бұрын
Typically, you can remove hinge pins with a flat-head screwdriver and a hammer. You just put the end of the screwdriver under the top of the pin and gently tap the end of the handle of the screwdriver with the hammer. You can remove the pins from some hinges, but not others. I haven't to remove them from the hinges I installed in this video.
