Do we have to soak the bamboo steamer before every use? Or just when we first buy it?

In around 1999 I bought a Ming Tsai Ceramic knife and it was one of the best knives I have ever owned! Well, I must have accidentally thrown it out when cleaning up my "cooking mess" recently..I ever went thru the garbage :( Does anyone know if this knife is still available??

Like so many other commentors, I too became a big Ming fan after seeing him on PBS. Jacques, Julia, Yan, Ming...the list goes on. I love cooking because of these master chefs.

I used to watch your show on PBS religiously when I was a kid. Never missed an episode whenever it aired. It was your show Simply Ming, Yan Can Cook, Jacques Pepin, Julia Child and America's Test Kitchen. Good times. I missed my childhood. Now I'm rewatching those old shows again lol.

Fry bread was in this country before anybody else other than the Native Americans were living here. It wasn't brought over from another country. They can be sweet with powdered sugar on top, topped to be like a pizza, etc. Make it into anything.
