The bad thing about most of the card readers like this that I see is the always super short attached cable or short in box cable. Not everyone is connecting these to a phone or laptop. Some people want to keep these connected all the time to the back of their computer and these cables just won't let that be an option.

I see a lot of people screaming Pocket 3, but this is about appearances. People equate a lot of gear to someone who knows what they’re doing. It looks fierce. The OP3 gets great footage, no doubt, but it looks like a dermatologist’s tool. Or something 007 would carry. This is awesome and screams professional. They both have their merits, but for a gear head, while it’s a lot to piece together, this is a solid solution. Came looking for a sound way to use the Lark M2 and an SSD simultaneously. The battery pack was a total bonus.

I came across this video while searching for solutions to deal with bulky SSDs. Putting an SSD in the pocket or bag makes sense to get a smaller setup. Perhaps adding a 90-degree L-shaped adapter to the connector at the phone side makes your life easier while holding the phone. Anyway, thanks for sharing the brilliant idea.

I noticed you said you used nose pads on the wayfarers, I have a pair that are a little loose on my face and may slip off, did you use a specific pair or size? not sure what would best fit on these and also worried about blocking the microphone

Can I power it using an external power bank while it is in use?

Roger have you had any issues with the light coming in from the top of the camera when you have the filter on. The reason is that there is a small gap that lets light from behind you??? Not sure what can be done but I am not happy as it produces terrible lens flares in the videos. Let me know if you have the same issues????

When the audio comes into your video, does the belkin route the audio file to the ssd? Of does the audio from your mic end up in the video in your iphone? Sorry for basic question, just curious.

i have this but my go-pro is my best camera. i find myself leaving this camera behind because it is not waterproof and i cant share the videos of the sd card cant share video so whats the point. Go-Pro is my everywhere camera.
