Definitely not a 1/4 mile car. Its strength is on the circuit track for sure. I've had it on Watkins Glen twice. The car will run 12's. I was handicapped by low launch control that night.

Nice runs but 12.5 @114 is pretty slow for a tuned G70. If he's running Map 4 on 93, that's the wrong map and causing lots of ignition pull. For example, a Lap3 ECU tune stage 1.5 on 93 will run 11.5 1/4 mile. The fastest G70 has a Lap3 Stage 2.5 and intakes with CPI. It runs a 10.7 in the quarter.

Typical person that don't know what it is, usually measure cars by how fast they go to 60s or are unaware of the effects of inflation in all the products out there. Let me illuminate you. These car is all about the driving experience and adds practicality to the mix. No M340, M240, Audi S3, AMG CLA35 will give you a more rewarding experience. They even cost you more. The ITS out handles all of them too for less money. Don't forget that it out handles the GR Corolla, Golf R, WRX and the EN too. The CTR is the only true match in performance, engagement and practicality but they are basically the same car.

Would be curious to see how a roll would go down between the type s and g70, that launch control awd dual clutch is putting you so far behind by the 60ft already, and every manual shift has you dropping back (obviously), I think a 40 roll would be pretty close

G 70 isn't a good car for track use. It has a poor chassis and suspension. Any type s will ravage that car in the corners, probably even the MDX

Car is much better suited to a circuit than a dragstrip. On a road course, it can outrun cars that run way faster 1/4 miles. Honda fwd is just not made for drag racing (Take it from someone who built out a DC5 Type S and FK8....both better on track than strip)

Man, I'm interested in these. Such nice cars... But that's slower than my Hyundai Kona with just an intake/inlet and tuned spare ECU on 93 for 20 grand less. Need to trade for a new car soon, want something nice and trackable like the CTR / ITS, but if I'm spending a ton of extra money, I want something... Faster. Might need to go the S3 / Golf R route or maybe M240i and lose some of the practicality and driving experience for extra speed.

Depends what kind of car your looking to get. I wouldn’t call 111 mph slow. These are track cars. I put this on a road course or time attack. This is just for fun.

@IntegraTypeSPerformance I mean, it isn't slow, but it seems slow if every car you've ever owned in your life ran that or better. TBH for a street car that's plenty fast... Just annoying in a street car if you can't get traction until you're already breaking the law which is what I'm already dealing with 🤣 I don't track or road course per se, but I make multiple trips to Cherohala Skyway / Tail of the Dragon etc annually. I think the CTR / ITS with a little tuning would be about the best car for that practically possible. All the power you need for it, exceptional handling and driving dynamics, AND I can stuff my wife and kid in there with a week's worth of camping gear, just like I do in my Kona N.

I like the golf R too, but I think I would choose the its just because of the looks and the lift back style 😊 not too shabby in a straight line, amazing in the twisties but an overall awesome car and with practicality 😊 . I think you might go with a Golf R, still have room in the back, can be nasty fast with the awd, bolt ons and a stage 2 tune and still be reliable. That’s not the problem, you have to turn off traction control all the way not just hitting the button, you have to turn off VSA off by doing “peddle dance” Look up “Honda peddle dance steps” Trust me bro I have an integra type s as well and this will eliminate the bogging out on launch, thank me later ;)

This is how a dyno video is done with a stock baseline. 😍😍😍😍 My plan will be getting a spare ECU to clone and jailbreak it. Will leave the stock one untouched for those unexpected dealer visits. Not planning on installing other parts with the exception of the RMM. The car will be just tuned.

Track times disagree with you. AWD will have more weight, complex drivetrain, more stuff to maintain and reduced agility. Pass They nailed it. Plenty of AWD compacts out there to choose from.

If you have the stock air box you won’t. Need it. I did buy the titanium inlet with the correct hoses to fit my set up.

Looks like our used the PRL coupler for the Inlet pipe that was for the stock air box. I heard you can use it vs the upgraded $50 PRL coupler specifically for these too. Did it fit ok?
