Basically, half of the band members had opportunities to work with larger acts (Evanescence, Korn, Motley Crue, etc) and they abandoned Dark New Day to pursue those opportunities. I don't blame them for doing so. But I wish that the other acts recruited someone else. Because some of these songs have stood the test of time and its a shame their work didn't continue.

Donnie has been a true muscian all his life. Laying foundations and playing with others that are staples in the business. His writing and vocals are not only rocking but thought prevoking not to mention hes a damn good guitar player.above all this guy is......the best thing about him is hes an awesome dude and friend. Always taking time to talk whenever i see him and humble in nature. The world needs more musicians and people like him, instead of the jerks we have now. If you havent heard any Still Rain stuff, or more dDouble Drive than this you are missing out on some really good Rock and Roll. Wishing you continued success in all you do or invovled in. Your friend in Rock, Dave.

Agree with the comments regarding this whole album. Every song kicked serious ass. Lead singers voice and their harmony together is ridiculous.

I found this album totally at random. It was stuffed inside the case of another used CD I bought. Why have I never heard of these guys and why didn't they get more play? I have either really bad or obscure taste in music. These guys are GREAT.

saw these guys at The Station in Orlando when this album came out....super tight performance. I still jam this album when biking and snowboarding. Guitarist Troy McLawhorn went on to live the dream playing with Sevendust, Dark New Day, Seether, and Evanescence.
