Amber-dawn: I really like the way you put these interviews together! What type of a software program did you need to be able to upload one video after another after another in one big collection for 1992?

Thanks! It was fun to make them. I had recently discovered W.A.S.P and I was obsessed with them. I used windows movie maker to edit them all together.

@amber-dawn you never had MTV? Well I was born 1990 but if you were born like in the year 2000 then you don't have much to worry cause by the time you were a kid old enough to understand MTV was already going down but MTV in the 80s n 90s and really early 2000s was something beautiful but by like the late 2000s MTV had gone down bad already all reality TV shows

"Seventh son" marked the end of the Maiden golden era. After that it went downhill... I purchased "No Prayer.. " just after its release expecting another masterpiece. However, I was a bit apprehensive because of the cover art which I found subpar (ie not as refined and original as the previous ones). Unfortunately the first listen confirmed my intuition. I couldn't believe how mediocre the album was. No great riffs, guitar harmonies and duels, lyrical themes and lyrics. Everything sounded flat. And Janick's guitar playing was just horrendous. The lack of inspiration and ambition in this album was so blatantly displayed that I thought at first it was a joke....But no, it was real. "No Prayer" was the last Maiden album I purchased. It was a huge disappointment for me.

I totally get it. I actually like No Prayer now except for 3 songs that I really don't care for but when I first heard it I was like - what is this? I agree though, the first 7 albums are magic.

Shame that there are so few old shows of decent quality in circulation. Quite few from '92, but nothing from '84 era (apart from official Lyceum that is quite heavily overdubbed / edited), or Circus / Headless... :(
