Marty i know this is an older diy vid. Will these fit my 2020 pelican catch pwr 100. I have the Suzuki 2.5, it's pretty stable, but I like to stand and fish. I weigh about 148 lbs..
@markp77994 жыл бұрын
I found this video after I added the same stabilizers to my Catch 120 from Pelican. I mounted them forward so I could more easily reach the rod holders and watch the rod tips if I'm trolling. I used some adhesive as well, but I also used the well nuts and they're very strong. Very cool video. You have anything on adding a transom for a Minn Kota? Cheers from BC!

As described, very fun, complete.つつ>share4.photo/PKayak?りぬ First one had a valve leak 1st time out. Still had fun...many compartments. Return through Coleman was complicated...return through amazon was easy

*This kayak is very nice!つつ>**share4.photo/PKayak?52** I honestly didn’t know if I would like this blowup kayak or not but after trying it out I find that I like it a lot it tracks fairly well for a blowup kayak and it has a space on the front to store your lunchbox if you’re going out for a whole day I am a larger girl and I was able to use it easily the back has a fair amount of support you can actually sit back against it I used a different paddle so I’m not sure how well made the paddle that comes with it is. The kids love it and it’s easy to pack away in the trunk and take with you which is a nice plus .*

*It's really stable!☛>**share4.photo/PKayak?Gけ ** I tried to get it to pitch me in the water. It didn't. I wiggled, wobbled, suddenly changed body positions - it didn't even come close to tipping. My friend tried too, but same results for both of us.*

Those nuts have been used in the automotive industry for a long time. They are used to hold the roof racks on the old station wagons, mini vans, & now on suvs. They are also used on motorcycles to hold the windscreen on some sport bikes. The old ones unfortunately were not stainless steel so they used to rust & leak. Keep up the great work Marty.

I know this kayak is a wider kayak so can you tell me what length paddle you need for it
@zoffingerskayakrentalsands30235 жыл бұрын
We would use the Symbiosa Angler paddle and that one adjust between 94.5"- 99". Let us know if you have any other questions.

Nice office to do your editing at. I was editing at Jupiter the other day. Great catches...you don't have net them just get them where you can touch the leader and it counts as a caught fish not to mention you get them on video. Congratulations...I could see you felt good about holding that tarpon & releasing it. That scale will always be a treasure. Hopefully, I will get over there to visit you. If in North Palm beach, give a call.

Does this have scuppers?
@RoundaboutWatercrafts5 жыл бұрын
Yes it does have scuppers. One in the back and one underneath the seat.
@laser77155 жыл бұрын
I owned the Catch 120. I liked it but it had no way to mount a fish finder to it. Have they made a way to mount a transducer to it or to run the cables thru the scuppers yet? That was the biggest disappointment to the Catch 120--a fishing kayak but no way to mount a fish finder. It should have been named the Guess 120 because I had to guess everything from depths to fish.
@Offroad3695 жыл бұрын
Laser Maker, I have a Catch 100 and mounted my fish finder in my tackle box and ran the transducer using PVC mounted to the track. Check my photo, I think you can see what I did.
@PelicanSportVideos5 жыл бұрын
We've had some people mount their finder and transducer on the rigging tracks. It's a great way to be able to switch your gear to another kayak easily. :)

Waiting for the catch 100 pedal , was talking to pelican international asking them about a 100 pedal and they said they are planning to deploy pedals on some of there other models soon, just as long as the catch 100 gets one..lol
@mastermouaable5 жыл бұрын
Nash Guy; that would be awesome on a 10 foot yak. It’ll definitely put pressure on Hobie to develop a ten footer pedal kayak. It will drive down the competition price.

Zoffinger, would you recommend buying the 130HD for a first kayak?? I’m torn between catch 100 and 130HD
@zoffingerskayakrentalsands30235 жыл бұрын
They are both really good kayaks. After getting in the Catch 130 with the HD the hands free capability of this yak is awesome. It really depends on what your budget is. Like I said both are really good yaks.

I've read that tarpon fishing slows down (and becomes almost impossible) during the winter time (December, January, & February) in Florida. Is this true, or is it possible to go fish for these at Zoffinger's Kayak Rentals and Sales?
