If you lay the inner cores flat in the jaws it will strip them all to the same length without needing the yellow stop.

I use the old style fan while camping a lot (or any sleep setting with no air flow or higher temps), so the increased size of the new model isn't very appealing, although not a huge downside if others use it mainly in a work environment.

Super description video of this drill. I didn’t know that the pressure adjustment were used other than the hammer function. Thank you this is possibly the best demo of a tool on KZfaq. Only two things . I know you didn’t pay for this one but I guess with your “addiction “ you would have bought one anyway. (I am addicted too) the second thing buy yourself some DECENT DRILL BITS, 20 years. Can tell you are Yorkshire born!!! Well done

Cheers mate I'm glad you found the video informative. Yes it was very nice of cbs powertools to gift me the drill and you are right, I would have bought it anyway 😄. As for the drill bits I reckon I can get another 20 year out of them 🤣👍

Thank you for the video :D Glad you are happy with the track saw, i would say the more you use the saw the easier it is to read and work, regards to the track we do sell an additional rail and bar kit separately to add length to the rails if needed on larger work :D

Thank you and glad you like the video. I'm really happy with it and looking forward to putting it to use on other projects. I completely forgot to mention about being able to purchase extra rails in the video. I'll add it in the description and put a link to them. Thanks again for sending this out for me to review.

Nice one Karl, great little review and some useful information on what looks to be a very good budget option… ✅ It’s not Green, which would be my go to, but at the price I don’t think you could go wrong with it, thanks for sharing the review and good to see you still plugging the odd Ryobi stuff (Vac in this case!)… 👏🏻 🐍

Cheers mate, glad you liked it. I'm still a big fan of the green tools and I considered going for their track saw but after doing some research I felt like this was a better option for a better price. Just like I did with my mitre saw.

Great video now subscribing. My only problem with mine is I can't unlock the clamp. Any ideas?
@TheYorkshireMix
@TheYorkshireMix Ай бұрын
Not really sure mate as I've not had a problem with mine. Maybe try pressing the treadle a little harder when the switch is in the unlock position. I think the more pressure you use when clamping means you need to add more pressure to disengage when you put it in unlock position. Hope this helps 👍

You need to wear a mask when cutting cement board, and preferably cut with a wet saw to control the dust. That stuff is really bad for your lungs mate.

A 20V One+ Ryobi battery has to be at least 16V to charge in the charger. Supposedly the charging circuit will not let a battery with less voltage than 16 volts charge as there is danger with charging a low voltage battery: ie: a battery fire might occur quickly. Therefore you should keep the charging batteries in a safe non-flammable environment that will not catch fire if the battery begins to burn. Often you can raise a battery that isn't too far below the "safe" threshold by by moving it in and out of the charger so the red light stays on and the green flashes and measuring the voltage from time to time to make sure it's increasing. Eventually you will get the battery past the threshold and it will charge , if all the cells are good, to a voltage near enough to the operating voltage, and you don't have to take the battery apart to raise the voltage this way! Always protect your eyes when working with these batteries, in case one explodes.

ive got the "Ryobi Airwave 50L 2.0HP" would this compressor be powerful enough to use this tool? or would i need somthing biger?
@user-fq5ov7qs1c
@user-fq5ov7qs1c 2 ай бұрын
There is a difference between 'cheap' and 'inexpensive'. I did not hear you mention the price. You should preview your videos and understand how to use and setup the equipment you are reviewing before you post anything. For example, what pressure did you set your compressor? Did you realize that you can adjust the media flow rate using the lever adjustment? I bought this sand blasting gun and it worked well to remove rust and to prepare a surface for painting or electroplating. The user manual says not to use this with 'sand'. You did not mention what kind of 'sand blasting media', the mesh or anything else about what you used. Just my two cents worth!
